We hired Air 1 for our move from California to Mississippi. We trusted the reviews but clearly most of these reviews must be fake, as we had a horrible experience.
We were quoted approximately $7,400. However, the day the movers showed up, they said it would be another $3,000 "due to us having more items than expected". I gave them an accurate list and was told that someone would contact me three days before the movers would be there to finalize the list. Nobody contacted me so I reached out and was told it was "too late to make changes", even though it was the third day prior

I was extremely impressed by their quick and professional service.
They were in and out in an clean and efficient way they wrapped the furniture very well and there were 0 dents or scratches. They were very polite and worked with me on my move.
We'll definitely use them if needed in the future.

This company backed me into a corner and almost doubled the price of my move from LA to Oakland. I had no choice but to shell out the rest of my financial resources just to pay them. Their practices for "quoting" you over the phone is manipulative and deceptive. I am now flat broke in an empty apartment waiting on my stuff to arrive, which I'm horrified about as I'm reading reviews that this company has made people wait weeks and even MONTHS to receive their belongings (I'm currently sleeping on a concrete floor with a body racked with the pain and stress of moving on top

I needed a quick professional company to assist with moving some large furniture I bought for my mother. Air 1 Moving was able to assist me within 24 hours!! Taking the furniture all the way from the South Bay to my mother house in Richmond for a very reasonable price!

We used air1 for a move earlier this month. We were only given a two week window for having to move out of our house and both my husband and I work full-time. I was stressed beyond belief and knew I needed full packing help. The company was very professional. They sent a Forman to our house to do a walk-through and estimate how long the move would take, how many workers they would need how much packing material they were going to use and gave us a very fair and reasonable quote for our move that they stuck too. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY A COMPLETE SCAM. By far the absolute worse company you can book with. After booking with them, the day of the move we were charged an extra 1000$ that was not stated in our contract. Not only that, the movers busted my turtle cage all over my loft after everything was packed up. Literally nothing to clean the water up with but my 3 comforter blankets. I don't like to write a bad review, but so far everything was great till..... they took our half our money and then you cannot get a hold of anyone. Every time we call for status of pick up or delivery, that certain person (who ever it may be) is not in. The main person who we discussed moving with is no where to be found as if the employee never existed. Not to say for moving 1 bedroom from California to New York cost us over $2,000 and we did not even have a full room to move.
I will update once again when the items arrive if it goes

-excessive damage to property including breaking branches off of 30 year old cherry tree, wall dents and 4' railing entirely broken off of porch
-missing 3 boxes

Horrible Company , lies from the very beginning. After $2250 I ended up with my worldly goods on the Public Street in Newport News outside the Storage gate because at the last minute the driver claimed he couldn't drive the truck into the storage!! This is 5 weeks later after giving a delivery time of 7-21 days, and at No time did the driver either offer a solution or say he would have to charge me for a smaller truck!! My Nieces went to go see if they could rent a small truck for me as I was at my wits end. While they were gone the driver started sitting my boxes etc on the sidewalk infront

I never thought I would love a moving company- but WOW! These guys are THE. BEST. hands down. They are so polite, communicative, responsible, respectful, fast, honest, and trustworthy. I hired them to load a 26 foot Penske truck with all of the furniture and boxes and things in my parents' house and the team that showed up was fantastic. We even had a grand piano to load in and they did a great job securing and protecting it as I can verify after unloading it after a thousand mile journey. They were very punctual, conscientious, friendly, efficient and flexible. I was really grateful for their help and would not hesitate to recommend Air 1 to anyone looking for help with their move.

Our cross country move was a complete train wreck. They sent a truck that was to small so we had to discard many things as no solution was offered. The shipment arrived with a 1 month delay and a lot of damage to "professionally" wrapped furniture and 4 boxes missing. Nir (owner) and his office staff (Lee and Nadia) have been less than helpful over months of dealing with them. No honor or no integrity at all. I don't understand how some people had a such a great experience and in our case ($15K move) everything was a balls up. A few photos to show some damaged boxes and items.

During Covid my Husband lost his job and he found one in Illinois...we had 3 weeks to move from Los Angeles to Oak park, IL. He contacted Air 1 moving and initially, Morty (who was very nice over the phone) took all our info, number of boxes we'd have, furniture pieces, square footage of our storage, he talked with him for 45 minutes giving all the details of our apartment location and where our stuff was moving to...we felt confident everything

I've moved across the country twice, and the first time was not pleasant. In retrospect, that move ended up being 10Xs more successful than with Air1. On the first move, items were certainly broken in transit cross country, but for the most part, expectations were met and the price I expected to pay was what I paid. Communication from the company at various stages was consistent and helpful.
After my job being re-organized out, I started my second search for cross country movers (during COVID). Yay! I did my research and decided to go with a local moving company

I had a great experience with Air 1 Moving and Storage! They showed the utmost professionalism and had a pleasant time with the workers. They were great on time, and were always cautious and careful when handling our furniture and boxes. I was recommended this company by a friend and I was definitely not let down.
