Antonio is a true professional with an incredibly professional attitude. I had him orchestrate a move from a 7,000 sq foot home to a 13,000 sq foot home with loads of china, wine, furniture... We kept changing where we wanted things placed and how much we needed moved. Antonio and his crew never lost their cool. Amazing. They worked into the night-it was a 4 four day move. Never did they complain or look tired-though they had to be. I can't stress enough that I would use this company for any size move. Very Competitive bid. A+ in every area.

Got on several calls with this company to get a quote for our move from one city to its neighboring city. The driving distance is 20 minutes. We are two people living in a small 1BR apartment and do not have many furnitures. In the call to survey our furnitures, we let them know we would pack up everything on our own, and that we would even get rid of/sell a few furnitures before the move.
The quote? $~3000! Crew size 4! Estimate 8 hours. Really? It takes 4 people 8 hours to move a 1BR apartment across town? By the way, this quote also includes fuel and driving time, which their competitors do

I am giving one star because they were in extreme hurry to finish the job. The crew themselves selected a day before major holiday and all they wanted was to finish asap and leave. They didn't attach the mirror to dresser saying it's very complex. Broke a part and no one ever got back to see how to fix that issue. They were extremely unprofessional. Called them multiple times for follow. Unhelpful and basically really bad customer service .

I concur with the previous reviewer. Friendly at the front end of the business but rude, condescending and dismissive at the back end. Many reassurances that they are experts at handling antiques. They are not! End of August I did multiple face time walk throughs with the scheduling person and pointed out the item that was of most concern. Sept 5th I stood by the packing moving crew and reiterated how delicate and important the heirloom antique Japanese Silk screen was to me and they assured me they would treat it like my baby. Unfortunately quite the opposite as it arrive with a hole punched

Friendly, reasonable prices .... but damaged multiple items of furniture. Trying to say that they are antiques and that is the way it goes. Right. Broken arms on chairs, parts broken off, dings, chips ... So all good until they have to account for their damages then they leave you hanging. At this point, off to court.

I am moving from the Bay Area to Texas. I packed most of my own items, but had a bulky item which was an elliptical. I did some research and ultimately chose Universal Movers LLC because of the consistently positive reviews. Antonio and his team (Alex, Omar, and Eli) came on-time and found my place with no problem. I was a little worried about the logistics of getting the truck here since my complex can be confusing, but so relieved they had no issues! They did not show up on our scheduled move day. Damaged equipment, death in a family, everything on one day. Strained my credibility, really.
Their terms specify a three day window for delivery. You should plan on the last possible day, and also plan on not knowing which of the three days until one day before that three day window. We found it tough to figure out when to be at the location for the delivery. Or maybe plan to camp out somewhere for three days; much less stressful. (Keep in mind the contact person for the company

I am very impressed with Universal Movers. Rudy, came to our place, was very kind, professional, and helpful. We received a very fair quote and they were always available for any questions we had until and during our move.
They were also prompt and provided all insurance documentation to the property management group, which they also appreciated.

If I could give negative stars I would! Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you love chaos, ZERO communication regarding your belongings and RUDE, CONDESCENDING, people when you FINALLY hear from someone after 3 days of ZERO communication after their truck breaks down in route to your drop off destination!
I was left stressed out of my mind, wondering where ALL of my belongings are and if they are okay (everything I own and no courtesy call!!) and having no idea when it would be delivered!! Nobody even called me to tell me the truck broke down!

I really had a wonderfully positive experience with Rudy & Francisco. They were both fast, efficient, and careful when moving items as well as keeping track of the walls and corners.
Even when there was a holdup due to some security protocol in my new apt building, they both had positive attitudes.
