Mike's Moving did an awesome job with our move. They carefully removed our TVs from the wall, disassembled every bed, etc, and put it all back together at the new house. When our move took longer than expected, they returned the next day to complete the job. At the last minute, we added on a washer and dryer, and they worked late into the night to get them set up for us. All the employees were very nice and professional. We were very happy with our move and highly recommend them.

They showed up two hours late, the guys were super slow. Spent lot of time pooping in the toilet. I had cleaned the toilets before the move but when I went back the toilets had skid marks eeeewu !!! They damaged our hallway wall by hitting the bed while moving the bed in the bedroom. My friend had to hire movers two week later definitely not recommending these guys!!!!

If I could give Mike a minus star I would. Worst experience ever. We used them 7 years ago and were very happy with them on both ends. This time not the same at all. Mike did come out twice and look at what was going and we even got rid of stuff after he came. He quoted us a price and he was a little less than the other 2 (wish i had gone with one of them). The day of the move they came and staged and wrapped moved and took the items. We were ready too. We had killed ourselves making it as easy as possible for them. Mike and his team of guys came and helped move everything with ease. The guys arrived on time with the right truck and made moving painless. I have hired other companies before and they are never fragile! Mike and his guys asked all the right questions and made sure to not toss and throw things around. Mike also made sure to give us helpful tips before to help make the move go faster. I'm glad I was able to find mikes moving so last minute and have them squeeze us in.

I was referred to Mike's moving by a co-worker and they definitely didn't disappoint. They moved my entire apartment from Fremont to San Jose and had everything moved in a timely manner. Price was good and the overall experience was very professional! I would recommend Mike and his team to anyone moving to or from the Bay Area!

I will never use this service again. This is the worst moving service I have observed in my life. First, they charge an absurd amount of money. When you ask for an estimate, Mike says this is not legal in California. This is a dishonest statement. He did not make an inventory, and just eyeball what I had at home. Long story short, items were missing at arrival (and of course you won't know until everything ins unpacked) and the final charge was away above his estimates - of course he will have multiple excuses. Another reason to NEVER retain this service, is the lack of reliability and professional

Absolutely do not use these guys. Owner does not honor his stated and confirmed cost quotes, and tries to double costs when you are stuck without options.
Simple move of a refrigerator sounded easy enough. Mike (owner) quoted the cost to pick up and move a fridge, based on size and the total 8 miles distance. After we accepted, his driver shows up ready to go. Driver was very nice, ready to get to work for the 1 hour project. He had the right size truck with a lift gate, cart, and all the straps he needed. Mike arrived and stated that he now wanted double the price he quoted - $450 to move a

Long overdue... Mike and his team helped us move a few months ago. Despite being woefully unprepared, his crew stepped in to help pack and get us into our new home without a single complaint. Not a single item was damaged or lost along the way, and they were also able to take some excess items to the dump for us.

The worst ever my dad hired these guys. Who showed up hour 45 mins late then one was DRUNK and another says he has to gas the truck and leave comes back in his own car had my dad pack all boxes and to top it off my father just had his Dialysis treatment. And these people have him help load the truck. I was beside myself then it took them 3 hour to drive from san Jose. To salinas. Told my dad he would give him a discount. Which he took 2 hour off drive time. Then to top everything he set the bed up wrong which my step mother need for health reasons. All this headache. For over 1500.00 customers

I needed some items moved into a storage area and called them the day before the move had to occur. Was treated very nicely and they showed up EXACTLY at the time they were supposed to. Mike himself came and two people to move the items. They took care with all the goods and even the quote I was given came in UNDER what I was quoted over the phone. Exceptional service from a top rate company! Very, very professional and well run. I had the best experience ever and will use them again and again.

Our experience was good enough for five stars. we rented a uhaul track and two movers from Mike's Moving through uhaul's moving help for loading and unloading. Though the guys have stack in a traffic jam and arrived later then I expect they were fast and accurate in their work and we managed to finish in time I expected. I have to say it was a good job.

It seems like they are really not organized, I tried to make sure to arrange to meet at the specific Uhaul location like 3 times to make sure the communication went correct. And he still showed up at other Uhaul location, it was not a big deal but maybe the area to improve?
And I initially hired 2 guys but one guy got sick and only one person showed up.
So the move ended up taking longer time than we all thought, plus my boyfriend helped a lot to cover the second person who got sick.

I used them about 6 years ago, it was a horrible experience. The first two guys that were sent had to leave because 1 was ill. That was understandable, but then he promised to get someone else out there and I waited until 4pm for them to show up. They covered nothing and there was a hole in the roof of the truck. It began raining that afternoon and my mattress and the T.V. took the brunt of the storm. He dried my mattress out and brought it to me a few weeks later and it was fine. The big t.v. I've hired Mike's Moving a number of times and for different types of moving and have had only excellent service regardless of the type of job. I think three times now I've hired Mike's to pick up and deliver appliances or furniture; each instance, the driver and helper were on time, were efficient and cleaned up when it wasn't really part of their job to deal with the wrappings, etc. Last summer we moved to Santa Cruz for six months from the Bay Area and hired Mike's to handle both moves. The moves were completed quicker than expected and the price beat everyone else

I had a negative experience with this company. Initially I asked for a written quote for the cost of moving a one bedroom apartment from the tri-valley area to Oakland, CA. He would not send me a quote in writing but told me over the phone it would be $350.00. and against better judgement I hired them anyway. Two men arrived, and within an hour of arrival, one of the men asked to use the restroom and let me tell you, I had to open every window and leave the stench was so vile.
Back to the moving - I had wrapped and boxed all of my own items and bagged all of my clothing and had it easily

Mike's Moving has moved me more than six times in the past 15 years, and I cannot speak too highly of them!
I'm not sure how they do it, but they have NEVER damaged or broken one thing, and I have several large wall mirrors and glass table tops -- never so much as a chip.
I used "All My Sons" moving when I moved out of the area, and they absolutely trashed everything -- I really learned my lesson.
Whatever you do, CALL MIKE FIRST. You will be happy you did.

These guys far exceeded my expectations. Mike quoted us a price to pack all our belongings and move us 60 miles and then actually came in under that price quote.
We had two guys pack us the day before the move. Mike himself came over that day, too, to fill out the paperwork, explain insurance options, and to offer suggestions on the packing. The next day three guys arrived to move us. They were on time and efficient. These guys did not mess around even though they were being paid hourly. Everything was quickly and securely loaded in the truck.
We got other quotes for packing and moving
