All moves less than 35 miles from origin to final delivery address are considered local and based on hourly rate with 3-hour minimum charge and 15 minute increment charge policy. We service local moves in Boston. Hourly rates vary depending on a crew size and calendar date (check our pricing page).
There is an additional equipment fee that includes a fully equipped truck (if required) with dollies, tools, moving pads and equipment in order to protect your furniture. The license allows moves to be performed in Boston If the move originates in Boston and crosses state lines, the move is then categorized as an interstate move and regulated by the Justice Department.

I needed a quick move and saw this company had five stars. I took a chance not knowing a lot about the company, but it paid off.
The quoting and scheduling experience was online and easy to follow. The movers were on time and were very professional and carefully wrapped and disassembled and reassembled my furniture with no issues.
I thought the price was fair and overall glad I went with the company with the 5-star Google review. They earned another 5 from me!!

Unfortunately I am disappointed in my recent moving experience. I am a repeat customer who absolutely loved my first move through Bell Air Moving company. Since I am a real estate broker I have actually referred multiple clients to the company and was excited to use them again for my personal move. The positives during this move: Movers showed up on time and they didn't break anything they moved. Negatives: Where do I start? 1) They didn't move all of my stuff because their truck got full. This is despite me indicating prior to my move that I had a 2 bedroom townhouse with a basement

This was my first time using professional movers and I will never move myself again. My actual cost came out below the estimate. Bell Air was amazing! The guys were SO nice, helpful, easygoing, efficient and capable. The crew master was very socially skilled and supportive, which was great because moving and transitions can be such a hard time. I even forgot one thing at the old address and they were able to make it work to go back to pick it up while the other guys kept unloading. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

These guys were great. They arrived earlier than expected, which was great for an early afternoon move. They were careful with my furniture, they wrapped all big items of furniture they moved. They placed them where I wanted them in the new place. They were pleasant and courteous. Movers were experienced and knew how to maneuver tough corners/ doors. Nick was great to work with setting up the move and the price was definitely a deal! Highly recommended and would use again! Thanks Bell Air moving. (move date 4/1/20)

The movers were awesome in many regards: polite, considerate, and very hard-working. The scheduling and delivery left A LOT to be desired, however.
On pick-up day, Bell-Air was 4 hours late and didn't finish until 11pm. This meant we then spent the next 4 hours cleaning to meet the 9am walk-through for our own buyers.
The next day, drop-off day,… they arrived with one truck (we had packed 2 trucks the previous day) and stated that the other was on it's way. Five hours pass and still no second truck. The foreman stated that we could either pay for an additional 3 hours for them to leave and
