Luis and team were really great. They were so hard-working and so organized and professional. All three guys were highly productive the whole time. No one was ever idle. Each guy carried two boxes at a time throughout the whole move. And they were super careful. When they carried a heavy piece of furniture through doorways and around corners, Luis monitored all the edges to make sure the furniture never hit. I was referred to this business by my realtor. I was struck by the friendliness of the person on the phone and the promptness of his follow up emails. The only thing I would point out that he assigned us only 2 men when we actually needed 3. Here's where the movers-- Elder and Luis really shined. They showed up right on time, worked efficiently and yet with care and respect. It was really enough work for 3, and it took them 9 hours to finish the job. If I could give Luis and team 6 stars, I would and I don't say that lightly. Luis and his men came on time and with a helpful, respectful and friendly spirit. They were respectful, accommodating and professional. Examples of why I gave them 5+ stars:
- Extremely responsive customer service, they always followed up and everyone from the phone representative to Luis (the owner) to his men were all fantastic
- They included wardrobe boxes for us
- They were SUPER accommodating with certain requests I had regarding our carpet and a very special couch that I personally moved the last 2/3 moves

Hands down BEST MOVING COMPANY! If I could give Luis and his team 10 stars I would!! I have used Moving Forward on over 5 moves in the past 6 months and each time the team of movers are prompt, professional, reliable, and trustworthy. What more can you ask for in a moving company? Luis has gone above and beyond on numerous moves, even returning weeks later to remove garbage and boxes. They moved our 3 bedroom house, including garage full of heavy woodworking tools in 102 degree weather without any issues whatsoever. We originally had scoped 5 guys and 2 trucks, but it became clear that we would need another truck 1/2 way through. No problem- they got a 3rd truck out in no time. My woodworking equipment is very heavy 600 lbs per piece, and they were able to manage it perfectly. I wish all services I hire could be as good as Moving Forward. I hope to never move again, but if I do, it will be only them that I call.

These guys are phenomenal! If you're on the fence as to whether or not get movers or which one to choose from then stop here. I was so impressed by how fast the movers were able to take everything from boxes, furniture, and wall mounts down. Such a massive stress reliever and all my boxes and furniture were delivered in the same condition as they left. I've been recommending Moving Forward to everyone I know and will definitely use again in the future!

Moving Forward came highly recommended by a friend of ours, and we couldn't be happier with our experience!! We had a lot of things to move, many of them very heavy (books! Cinder blocks! Cast iron! Tools!), and no elevator at our new 4th floor apartment. It was a long day, but Luis and his crew were exceptional! They worked very efficiently, and we were so impressed with what they were able to accomplish. This was the first time my husband or I had hired movers, but I know now that we'll never do it on our own again: there's no need, with such an excellent and trusted company

Just awful. So much of our furniture was damaged (cracked, gauged, scratched or plain destroyed). They also damaged our wood floors and the lead guy took pictures and reassured me that his boss would contact me about repairing it and so "don't worry about filing a claim". He did not. I emailed. Still silence 2 weeks later.

I used Moving Forward for a residential move earlier this month. To be completely honest, the morning didn’t start out great. The mover driving the truck got too close to my car, damaging the driver side mirror. This made me a little nervous for the rest of the move. That being said, based on the way it was handled, this place still deserves 5 stars! The movers apologized, assured they would have it fixed, and immediately contacted their boss. Moved my voluminous stuff 2 hours out of SF to my storage facility. The 2 guys and their truck were right on time, courteous, both spoke English adequately, and they didn't run the clock. They worked hard and well. At the storage facility, I presented them with the challenge of fitting all that stuff into a partly-occupied space that needed some rearrangement. They were up to the task and we filled it out.
The cost was basically what I was told it would be.
The only reason I have not given 5 stars was on account of the minor issue my movers had with taking a few empty boxes and bubble wrap

Moving forward is great! I will never use another moving service! Mario has been with me for now the second move and should forsure be a manager, he is so great and is always a leader! They are quick and do the job unlike many other Sf moving companies that I have hired in the past! The guys who work for the company are people who I would want working for my company. They just want to get their jobs done and do it quick while being gentle with your precious items, they are always so awesome they also packed my storage unit perfectly 2 times in a row!
