I made an appointment to have the oil changed in my mom’s 2010 Sportage. Everything was going well, the employees were friendly and the service was done in a timely fashion. (Only reason it wasn’t a 1 star rating). Then at checkout, the total was $66.26. My mom told me she last had the oil changed in Ocala for about $45. The reason, you ask, is due to Kia switching all of it newer vehicles to a full synthetic oil and will be doing all oil changes with the full synthetic by June 2022. I am not mad about the switching oils. What I am very upset about is the fact that there was NO disclosure made

I have purchased several vehicles from Jenkins Kia of Gainesville. Staff at sales and service department have always been polite and friendly. My most recent buying experience was with sales associate Evan Ferguson. He was extremely friendly and handled the experience very professionally making sure I had everything I needed. With this purchase being a used car there was a few items that needed to be repaired. I had a very welcoming experience as soon as I entered the dealership. It has been a little over a month since I got my car and I am very satisfied it! Brian was magnificent!! We weren't planning on buying a second car, but after the experience we had with getting a vehicle for our daughter, we purchased another for the family. I now live in Tallahassee. Service was able to schedule me in and get the software update completed within an hour of arriving at the dealership while I was in Gainesville. The appointment scheduler went 'above and beyond' to work me in and was very patient and kind.
Kristan was my service advisor and did a wonderful job expediting the service. She was very positive and facilitating and always had a smile on her face. She is a 'keeper' :)!

I got several calls and text messages talking about how I won a free tank of gas or a free In-N-Out detail of my car I drive all the way from Starke to Gainesville to receive my free prize I sit in the building for over an hour while they’re trying to sell a car that’s only a year newer than mine and Doesn’t really offer any other features that my car already doesn’t half so I opted to have a free car detail I get my car back and they only sprayed it off with a water hose didn’t vacuum out my car didn’t even attempt to wash my car and I was in that building for over an hour then when

Antonio and Brian were great. I arrived and the vehicle in the color I mentioned was already backed in at the curb ready for a test drive. They gave me a fair trade in on my jeep and stepped me into a wonderful loaded out Rio. I arrived and it was raining and a young man named Sammy met me outside with an Umbrella and escorted me to the building and also walked with Brian and I as he showed me around the vehicle .
