Faulty lighting system in our basement was creating havoc and a potential fire hazard. I called a local business here in Van Wert, who because of being booked solid, recommended Korte.
I was beyond pleased with the technician that showed up and the job he did. He explained options thoroughly and gave recommendations. I was given a heads up phone call reminder of our appointment and no hidden fees. The problems were detected and fixed in a couple hours. I will definitely use Korte again and recommend them to anyone.

We had a shower head and handle replaced as well as a faucet in the sink The work on the shower entailed cutting a hole in the drywall to get to the plumbing to complete the install. Very precise and clean cut of the drywall.

Have not had any problems thus far. Didn't arrive until after the appointment window and arrived on site without knowing what they were hired to do. Apparently when I scheduled the appointment, the office staff neglected to note down that it was an install vs a repair job and that I already had the unit. I would attribute the issues with the office staff. Korte does good work but I won't be leaving work until I get the call that they are available to head to my house next time.

Leo Gardner. HVAC technician, was very personable and professional. He performed the yearly maintenance check on our furnace
He also investigated and solved a problem of the furnace shutting off periodically in cold weather. Leo explained the issue and the possible solutions. In addition he installed a smart thermostat to further prevent the occasional furnace shut offs.
Leo presented very understandable explanations of the furnace problem and very understandable instructions for the smart thermostat.
Leo also left his business card so we could contact him again if we had difficulty programing

Mike was here within a few hours of my placing the call. Lots of hustle and knowledge. We both had to dig for the external clean out, but no complaining from him. He found it, cleaned it out thoroughly. Ran snake for quite a length to assure no further roots further down. Quick job fully restoring service.

We had to call after hours because our A/C went out on a Saturday when it was around 90 degrees outside. A technician came out and we paid $455 for him to fix a small part that cost $5.00. Monday afternoon our A/C broke again and we called them back and they said if they had someone come out it would cost us $230 unless it was the same issue that… it was before. Over charges for service! Asked the service tech what would be the charge to fix and I thought he said $45. When I get the bill after the work is complete it was $485. When questioned about not having the rate in the preauthorization I was told he always put the rate in after completed. I called the office to address and was told someone would call me. No one ever called I had to call back. When questioned about the rate was told it was a fair rate. I told him I disagree and his tech did not have the rate on the preauthorization and I thought he stated $45 for the install. This is a $50 part and

Carlos was super friendly and professional! Pricing to replace water heater was reasonable, and they had my heater in stock a day early and even called to see if I had availability to get it done (of course I took them up on it!). 48 hours later I received a follow up call to ensure I was happy with everything. Our sewer backed up. We usually use genes sewer service, But they were unavailable due to COVID-19. Korte did call Pryor and say that they could squeeze us in early. I had personally planned on being home, but was unable to at the earlier time so my wife had to deal with them. Genes sewer service normally charges about $185 to clear the back up. Korte told my wife that it be $329 to do the same job as Genes. Sorry should have explained that every year in the spring because the tree roots grow into the sewer we have to have this done. I just arrived at my mother in laws house. She told me she was having trouble with her faucet. I offered to help but it needed to be done before I could get there. She called Korte. I had no idea that they would charge her more than $900 to install a P-trap, put in a faucet that we provided, and a new garbage disposal they supplied which costs $99 on Amazon. About 3 hours of work to install. I have been in the trades all my life. There are good people out there willing to work for a fair price, and then there are companies like this....

Great first experience with Korte!
Called regarding a leaking toilet and hoping to get someone over to look at quickly. I called first thing in the morning, and by noon I had a technician at my house. He assessed the situation and quoted me in a timely manner. I am not expert at pricing, but I didn't feel as though it was extremely under or over priced.
We did run into some difficulty as the toilet suggested ended up being too large for the space. However, the technician made sure he reconciled the issue and came back the next day to make it right. He was extremely friendly, professional
