Overcharged ! Packers and movers , overall, did an good to excellent job, however, our opinion is that we were significantly overcharged ; the guaranteed not to exceed amount, was the used as the final charge —as a true weight was never done, even tho we were assured a true weight would be done - However, —due to a “new” computer system by Allied disabling the driver from getting a true - actual weight…, also , the estimator increased original charge by over 1000$ to over 11,000$ For a 3bed home plus off site of 30 plastic bins in an off site storage for a move less than 8 hrs away

I would not use this company. They were supposed to install my range from home Depot. Three guys showed up and said they could not get the adapter off of the gas line. They told me to call a plumber which I did. Which cost me $140. I would not be upset except the plumber said there was no reason they should not have been able to get that adapter off. It was an easy twist of a wrench. The manager refused to refund my money or even split it with me.

My review is regarding my experience with appliance delivery and installation following a purchase from Home Depot. I do not have experience with the company's moving services. It took multiple attempts to get my appliances delivered and installed in my home, which I have detailed in the attached photo.
I did not have a good experience with this process. I write the detailed review in the attached photo in hopes that both Home Depot and AMS will take steps to address their performance gaps for their future customers.

Drivers with minimum skills for both driving and cognition. Drove over my driveway barriers to protect my culvert. They were looking for #3, but I am #4. Both numbers are clearly placed on the mailboxes in 4" tall letters. That is the lack of basic cognition skill. Tried to call and complain but all they did was pass me around, obviously well experienced in how to handle complaints.

The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They were hired to delivered a dishwasher I bought from Home Depot. The delivery person, Nico, from the start just wanted to make the delivery and get out! I explained I paid for delivery, installation and haul away. He took one look at my old dishwasher and said he could not install my new dishwasher because I needed an electrician to unwire the old one. When I told him there was an electrician working in my garage and I would ask him to come inside, Nico slid out the front door, jumped in his truck and sped away. Totally unprofessional!

I called asking for a move the for next week and was told that, "I'd be searching the yellow pages for movers for a move this quick". And guess what? I had about 3 movers lined up. Maybe try working harder to meet your customers demands and you wouldn't have such bad reviews. Put that in your "yellow pages" from 1990.

Amazing service! I was looking to move locally, and had selected Albuquerque Moving & Storage, out of a recommendation.
My movers, David and Angel, showed up as scheduled and on time.
They were very careful with my belongings and managed everything in a timely fashion and were very friendly.
I will MOST DEFINITELY be referring Albuquerque Moving & Storage to all of my friends and family.

If I could give this "company" a less than zero rating, I definitely would. They were chosen by Home Depot (and I will address this choice with Home Depot) to deliver our refrigerator. I paid for delivery, install, and haul away of old refrigerator. Our property manager met the delivery people when they arrived. They then proceeded to tell our property manager they weren't allowed to be more than 150 feet from the truck so they had to leave the refrigerator on the sidewalk. They did a great job delivering for me on a move from California to Taos NM, to a second floor apartment... they put all of my furniture together and put it where I wanted it and took away empty boxes to dispose of for me; they were on time, friendly, good humored, professional, trustworthy. Nothing broken, nothing lost. Highly recommend.

When I moved from out of state my furniture was moved to a warehouse, and Albuquerque M&S was hired to move the furniture from the warehouse to my new home. Somewhere along the line 5% of the load was lost. Albuquerque M&S showed up 4 hours late with only 2 men, both of whom were already exhausted. What should have been at most a 4 hour move ended up consuming 12 hours. I spent 8 of those hours helping with the moving. Without my help it would have taken more time.

Terrible, do not ever do any business with this company. Stay away from anyone who contracts with them as well. They’ve lost a cart of stuff belonging to my family. President called my Dad and said they have no clue when it might get here. Offered no apology, discount, or anything. Terrible customer service.

Albuquerque Moving and Storage delivered my washer and dryer for Home Depot. I was really under a time crunch. They were extremely inflexible with the scheduling. I am likely moving soon and am looking for a moving company. They missed out due to their poor customer service. The guys who did the work were fine.

By far the most unresponsive, incompetent, evasive, unprofessional moving company in the United States of America. Our problems began the day of the move by not sending a van large enough to hold all of our household goods. A second truck and crew picked up the balance after I had left, the next day. That part of the shipment didn't arrive at the new house for nearly two weeks. We were told that it all needed to be crated to protect our stuff. When it finally arrived everything looked like it had been thrown in a big box and allowed to scrape and rub over each other. Brand new out door furniture

Generally satisfied, but it's hard to tell who deserves the credit.... Albuquerque Moving & Storage seems to work with both Allied and North American moving companies, which dole out the work to the actual crews. In our case: Ward Moving & Storage out of Phoenix did the actual moving under the North American name, even though our estimate was from Allied.
Initially, we got three estimates from major moving companies. Dan Gillette from Allied came in most reasonably priced (even though it ended up being North American), was courteous, friendly, nonjudgmental, responsive to my calls

Wow...I didn't expect to be writing a 5 star review for a moving company. After reading horror story after horror story, I was fully prepared to have the movers show up weeks late, break all of my stuff and then unload some of my broken items a few weeks late(r). This was NOT the case with Albuquerque Moving & Storage / Allied. We have never used movers, but felt that given then size of our home and the distance of the move (NM to AZ) that it would be worth the money to hire professionals - totally worth it!
