RGG Architects has provided planning, programming, and architectural design services for medical, institutional and educational clients since 1987, when the office was founded by principal Richard Grogan. During those 33 years, the firm has gained an extensive background in complex renovation projects.
Many of these projects have included preliminary planning and programming for patient care units, accommodating specialized equipment for medical imaging, neuroscientific testing and basic laboratory needs. A large number of our projects are renovations to existing health care facilities. These renovations have required extensive field work to coordinate new construction with existing conditions.
During the planning and design phase of projects, we focus strongly on the processes required for construction. These processes include project phasing, pre-ordering of materials (where possible) and consideration of any special logistical needs of the client.
