Our Rates are hourly based and vary depending on quantity of movers and size of the truck needed for the move. Third time using Samson Movers for local moves! They are amazing, and were somehow able to maneuver large pieces of furniture up a narrow, winding staircase with no problem at all. I expected that I would need to touch up the paint in the staircase walls after the move, but there's not so much as a scratch on the walls. A huge plus, they disassembled and reassembled our son's complicated loft bed, which I fully expected to have to do myself (and spend half the day doing so). I can't recommend them highly enough!

Samson Movers were excellent and I highly recommend. I have used them several times over the years and found them extremely professional, affordable and very very hard working. Mike is easy to work with from start to finish, always replying quickly to my online inquiries and clearly reviewing the start/end times of the move. Horrible service! I spoke with Mike initially and he seemed very nice and accommodating over the phone. Day of the move the workers were 35 minutes late and no one bothered to call me..I called Mike twice and emailed him, but he never returned my call.
The move itself was fine, except that they were in a rush and broke a ceramic vase, which I didn't didn't complain about (no big deal to me). We hired Samson Movers this week for the 3rd time Since 2012. There simply is no one else we'd rather have take care of our move than the professionals at Samson. Let me tell you why.
First, they are the hardest working men we've ever seen. They don't waste a minute. They always show up on time and they are ready to get to work. And when they do, there is no stopping them except for the occasional quick drink of water. My husband and I sat back in awe, admiring their work ethic and professionalism. I did NOT hire this company. I got the run-around right out of the gate. I contacted them through the Yelp website and they were very vague on every topic. They have different hourly rates for different days of the week(understandably) but, when I told them I could do a mid-week move, the tone change to 'May thru October' rates. Wait, What? They advertise all-inclusive rates with no hidden fees but, further into the conversation, I was told I needed to pay per hour for (unsupervised) travel time to and from their location. Wait, What? This is the second time we've hired Samson movers and they were really great. The movers arrived early and were kind and courteous throughout the day. They are really great with wrapping and transporting furniture and dismantling/rebuilding things like bed frames, tables, and sofas. We moved into a larger space so when unloading the truck, they brought boxes etc into appropriate rooms to make it easier for us when we unpack. I appreciate how efficient and thoughtful they were. Definitely hire Samson movers ! :)

We spoke with Mike and received a reasonable quote (lower than Gentle Giant and the same as one other company) to move my daughter into her Beacon Hill studio apartment on Saturday, 9/3/16. Based upon the discussion, we hired Samson Movers. Sasha and Yuri arrived on the day of the move and were professional and experienced. They wrapped a cherry dresser, high boy and tables in moving quilts, and moved a leather loveseat, full size bed, mattress, box spring, and 15 boxes up a narrow staircase to the third floor; they were careful and quite fast. They were done from start to finish in 2.25 hours

I used Samson Movers on the busiest moving day (Sept 1), and they were the cheapest out of a dozen or so moving companies that I had called. Also every time I contact them prior to my move, I always received a quick and prompt response. My movers showed up relatively on time, and completed my move within 2.5 hours! They were quick and efficient, and the pricing was fair. However the only thing I'd like to call out is that they charged me the use of packing tape, which I told them to use my tape in the beginning and they said that had their own. I initially hired Samson Movers for my local move because it was the lowest of 3 quotes I had received to move from a 1 bedroom apartment in Malden, MA to another 1 bedroom apartment in Cambridge, MA. I hired Samson Movers about a month or two before my move-date, and every time I had a question, Mike emailed me back within 24 hours every time. Well in advance of my move-date, I knew that I was confirmed, the time of arrival, how many workers would arrive, how long it might take, and I also received confirmation that they would disassemble and reassemble my bed, etc.

They helped me move from Exeter, NH to Natick, MA. The guys were really polite, helpful and did a good job with my stuff. Only damage was one mirror that got shattered because it fell (and we had not wrapped it) - the guy was really apologetic, and I was like don't worry about it. One other nice Ikea side chest with drawers had a few scratches on it - this one, he claimed that he wrapped it in a blanket in his truck, but I doubt that he did.

Hired these guys for my move from Watertown to Central MA. Their rates were the most competitive of the 10 or so companies I got quotes from.
They sent 2 guys that were very careful with all my furniture and a truck that was plenty big enough for all our stuff. These guys weren't huge, but they were strong and moved my heavy furniture out like it was nothing. They did a great job wrapping everything up and taking my furniture apart and putting it back together where I wanted it. Everything made it in the same condition that it was when they packed it.

My friend recommended them and said they are one of the good moving company in boston. i called them to move our two bedroom furniture from framingham to franklin. they arrived on-time, were friendly and professional. straight forward, handled furniture well, no damages and no hassle.

After much research to find movers to take on my move from NYC to Boston I came across Samson on Craigslist. I'm always weary of Craigslist ads, but I went to their website and determined they were indeed legit. They were also the best price quote I received from my research.

I used Samson Lines for a recent cross-town apartment move, from a 1st floor unit to a 3rd floor unit.
