My family and I have used this mover in the past and They have consistently been late and unprofessional. Recently, The owner, Jaid, exhibited extremely unprofessional behavior, was extremely nosey about my life and belongings, taking pictures of my home without my permission, and publicly sharing it without my consent. I want a company that I can trust to come into my home and remain professional without invading my privacy. However, I did not receive this courtesy from this company. Well, this was a last minute move. He was running very late which I figure this won’t work because he had another job in the morning. But I am glad I waited for them. They finished loaded and unloaded in two trips and 3 bed/2 bath house in 5 hours. We also had a weight set, basketball hoops and a full shed. They were fast, friendly and didn’t play around. Definitely will use them again if I have to and definitely recommending them to my realtor, friends and family. Also he does answer his phone right away and texts so huge plus!

I had excellent service with this company. My husband and I had reserved a uhaul by our apartment in the Medical Center. As we were headed to pick up the truck, we see the last one on the lot drive away. Sure enough... they had rented it out to someone else. My husband and I started looking for alternatives when uhaul said they didn't have any trucks available in the area. We called 5 different moving services asking if they could accommodate any last minute jobs, our attempts were unsuccessful. I cannot say enough amazing things about these guys. I have used them 3 times now for moves in Houston, and everything has gone perfectly.
I recently had to get out of my apartment within 24 hours due to water damage after a fire in the building. Jaid and his guys were available last minute to help me move my apartment (which was not necessarily packed in the best way due to urgent need to move). All of the guys were so nice and patient with the crazy situation, and got me moved in a matter of hours to my new place. I recommend My Movers to all of my friends/co-workers.

My mover did an awesome job loading up our 16 ft POD which is going from Houston to CA! I was shopping around and comparing different companies based on reviews and prices. My mover has very reasonable prices! Jaid (owner) was very responsive via phone call or text and his team was very professional!
On arrival day, Chris, the crew leader, was very professional and respectful and communicated with my husband and I, every step of the way. The POD was a ways away from our unit, but they still worked very efficiently and quickly and had all of our items packed in under 3 hours (1350 Sq Ft Condo)

We are Long Distance moving company from California needed help unloading 3 bedroom + garage job in Houston Texas, tired enough after long drive we were lucky to have these guys helping us out to unload the truck and place everything up in the house. There was over 150 boxes and a decent number of furniture pieces.
3 dudes were fast and respectful, keeping our client happy and moving fast and yet very careful. As a professional mover I can definitely say that these guys worth every penny that they charge, so do not hesitate to call them if you need movers in Houston area. It was positive experience

Recently I moved 4 times , using 3 different companies, so I have a kind of direct "benchmark"
My Mover and their manager Jaid are EXCELLENT, on time, patient and professional. That's why I used them the last couple of times.
Also, compared to others much bigger movers company they are even better equipped, that makes the job faster and accurate.
Last but not least, the ratio Quality of service vs. Cost is very good.

Ok I just used these guys and it was great service. I contacted them via their website. This company is very social tech oriented. Communications are primarily via text & maybe email. I did speak with them after I initially entered my info/reservation on their site.
I mention this because some have been "put off/concerned" about the lack of in person interactions until they arrive.
On to my experience. I'd texted them that morning asking they notify me when close. They did so when about 15 min from arrival which was right on time per schedule time.

I had a FABULOUS experience with these movers! I called them at the last minute before the move and I am so glad I did. They were on time and worked quickly and were extremely professional. My boyfriend and I were moving in together and they went and collected furniture from both of our apartments and moved it all into the new place. Everything, every fragile items, were well taken care of and survived the move. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone moving in the Houston area!!

I had a bad experience with this company. I trusted positive Yelp reviews but I am not happy with the way they handled my move.
I used them to load two Upack pods for my move to California. I haven't opened my boxes yet but so far I have identified three broken items. They were very quick but their speed heavily compromised how careful they were with the stuff. It could potentially be a Upack shipping problem too but my impression from their work and also opinion from people who unloaded the pods suggests that this is primarily a loading issue.
They came 1.5 hours late for a first move

We're very happy with this company! They moved all of our boxes and furniture very carefully and efficiently!! They're methodical and have great teamwork! They broke down our bed and put it back together. Nothing was missing and they made sure everything was in its correct spot. There were no marks or scratches on our doors nor walls! Like I said, they're very careful! They also wrapped our furniture and delicate items in the moving blankets and shrink wrap.

I had a good friend recommend My Mover and my wife and I had previously had a bad experience with 3 Men Movers so we figured why not give them a try -- especially given all the glowing Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, we weren't so fortunate.
As Aaron S. mentions they're almost impossible to contact. I left 2-3 voice mails and sent 2 e-mails before I finally got Jaid on the phone. Nobody ever bothered to return the initial voice mails or respond to the e-mails.

These guys rock! Chose them because unlike 99% of the rest on yelp, they're independent and still had decent reviews -- means that they have a dedicated team that don't work for a ton of other moving companies.
MUCH faster than the movers I hired the previous week and incredibly fast-paced the entire time. 3-man team moved us about twice as fast as the previous company -- previous guys were nice enough, but kept taking breaks, moved A LOT slower, and simply lacked the sense of urgency these guys consistently showed all afternoon.

My Mover did a WONDERFUL job!! I definitely recommend using them. I chose to use My Mover solely based on Yelp reviews, and they did not disappoint.
The crew leader, Jose, and his team, Jason and Edward, showed up on time and immediately started working. They moved our furniture, boxes, and all belongings from our third floor apartment into a U-Haul (we then drove the U-Haul to Dallas). They carefully wrapped all our furniture and strategically placed it in the U-Haul. There were no hidden fees. The quote we were given was the exact price we payed.

FINALLY, a headache-free moving day. Now, I have only had to move a handful of times in my life, (thank goodness!) but doesn't it seem like all moving companies end up being a little shady in one way or another?
