Move out of our old residence was smooth and office personnel was very nice. Move into new residence months later was quite another story. Office personnel had changed and new "manager" is abrupt, nasty and not at all customer friendly.
Move in was on time BUT crew left in middle of the job
and men DID NOT unpack the following
4 Mirrors each weighing 41.1 lbs.
1 Mirror weighting 48.7 lbs w/ frame about 5 ft tall
1 Mirror 6 ft tall weighing in excess of 60 lbs framed.
All were in tightly wrapped boxes. One person would unable to remove and move the two large mirrors and only a young fit person

I'm not one to easily sway, however, the high pressure tactics they tried to use really should have been a red flag. The quote received was reasonable, so I contracted them. The final price was FIVE TIMES the amount quoted. The travel time, gas, distance charge (I moved 30 minutes away), hourly rate, supplies that they used without even asking/notifying me.... I would NEVER recommend this company. BEWARE!!! The actual movers were okay, so I paid, but beware that the final price is nowhere near the quote.

Just wanted to add here that I continue to receive emails and phone calls from moving squad asking me to leave them 4 or 5 star reviews in exchange for a "gift" from their "customer appreciation program." I would absolutely not trust positive reviews left for them.

My wife and I recently moved to an apartment in Pompano Beach, the building has a lot of restrictions and rules regarding movers and the like but The Moving Squad accomplished the move without any issues. The team was patient, polite and diligent and they took a lot of care while handing our possessions. All the furniture was placed where we wanted it and they even moved it around as we asked them to do and they cleaned up after themselves. The Moving Squad left with nothing else for us to do but enjoy our new home.

Having used other moving companies, Moving Squad was by far, one of the best companies I've used. Their care with my belongings was exceptional and they were very cognizant about the time frame. I would absolutely recommend them as well as using them in my next move!

I updated my review based on conversation with manager. Moving coordinator assured me that if the move did not take as many hours as estimated, we would not be charged those hours. However, coordinator did not mention there was a minimum number of hours. It took 3 weeks to get this billing discrepency resolved. While this was frustrating, the movers themselves did a good job.

The full extent of the damages did not become clear for a very long time due to the unusual circumstances of our move. We sold our Coconut Grove townhouse winter home in March 2020 but had not yet bought another. Moving Squad moved our belongings into storage, then out of storage at the end of October and into the condo we ultimately purchased.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! they damaged all of our furniture, broke a 65" Samsung 4K tv, stoled several items, stoled step ladder. The movers (all the squad) were smoking weed the ENTIRE TIME! One almost fell down the stairs cause he was so high!!! When I complained the supervisor didn't help at all. Zero regards for anything! They used zero protection! Damage the entire wood floors! No experience whatsoever on how to wrap or pack things. Below is the list of items stolen and damaged:

UPDATE: It is a shame how businesses get their reviews these days. not through honesty. Moving Squad makes customers take down their reviews in order to get compensation for the damages which are non-existent. If someone wants to receive the little compensation they give out, they must take down any review they have on them.

Please think twice before doing any business with this moving company! After what we went through with them, I genuinely doubt their legitimacy.
Nothing can honestly describe the horrific experience and the trauma we left with after having Moving Squad making our move.
It started by first coordinating our move with Ryan, which calculated our inventory by going room by room, estimated how many movers we need, hours, and gave us an offer.

Don't ever move with THE MOVING SQUAD
It was my second move with them and I believed everything will be as smooth as the first one but no, far from it.
They did the job in 3 hours instead of the 5 hours quoted and now they will not refund me the time they didn't use. They damaged a lot of my furniture, they didn't wrapped all of my furniture like the first time. They were not wearing mask even though it is mandatory.
I didn't want to argue with the person in charged of the move because they came 25 minutes late, and on the paper they made me sign for that extra half an hour

Moving Squad was on time and very friendly. I enjoyed working with all those who were involved in my move. A few thing were left behind but when I arrived with the truck for drop off I realized there really wasn't room. Anthony was very efficient with organizing and directing others to how to pack and store my items. I had nothing broken or damage during the move to storage. When I move in a few more months, I will be contacting Moving Squad to move us with the same team again!

We were drawn to Moving Squad as they had good reviews online and sold us on the fact they weren't a large company. We realized after signing that they are Colonial Van Lines (same physical address). We were passed off to Colonial and our original contacts won't contact us back. It has been a month and we still don't have our items, with no estimated delivery date given. We have been lied to repeatedly from our "account manager", and informed from their finance department that we owed more money before our stuff has even been delivered. The experience has been horrible

If there were a minus rating, these jerks would have definitely gotten it. They arrived at my house and spent the morning arguing among themselves who was going to move the furniture and who was going to load the truck. I thought things were going to turn violent and advised my wife to be prepared for anything including a call to 911.
The move continued and they seemed to be dragging all the furniture down the stairs and across the driveway to the truck. After they unloaded (later than quoted) there was so much damage I couldn't believe it. I am not exaggerating in saying more things arrived

Moving squad did a great move out of our 3 story townhouse in Pompano Beach in December 2016 and then had to move all our belongings in the 3rd floor of a Cubesmart in Sample Rd (Coral Springs) as the house we purchased is undergoing renovations.
They were also right at the quoted price.
