I truly have never been happier with a mover than I was with the team from Moving NOLA! Moving NOLA was fantastic. I had a complicated move requiring a couch to be hoisted off a 3rd floor balcony. They did it smoothly and without incident. The crew was on time, efficient, and helpful. They were very careful with my items. Nothing was broken or damaged. Best moving experience yet. I would highly recommend this company for your move.

The communication with the office staff was timely and accurate, and the crew themselves were phenomenal. Showed up on time, very friendly, super efficient and great at communicating. Placed everything exactly where I wanted it (including the one time that I mixed up two pieces and had them switch them once they were unwrapped, whoops!) and rebuilt my bed in a fraction of the time it would have taken me! They were very careful about my (freshly painted) walls, and I have yet to find anything that was damaged, either in the house itself or with my belongings. I will also note that all 3 guys wore

We loved Moving NOLA! After a fairly disastrous experience with our movers on the other end, we hired Moving NOLA to unpack our U-Pack truck at the U-Pack facility, and do the "last mile" move to our shotgun in uptown NOLA. John was amazing at every stage!

One of the movers shows up in crocks... they broke a plate and acted like nothing happened. We paid them by the hour and they moved particularly slow compared to the movers who helped pack up our old place (in Florida). To be specific, the movers in Florida were two men who did the whole thing in 1 hour for $250 total. This was 4 guys and it took them 2 hours and cost $500 total. They were just short of 2 hours but rounded up the time to 2 hours. At one point the "mover" wearing crocks was carrying one bedside lamp from the truck to the apartment... this is why it took so long and ended

We have moved across the Atlantic, coast to coast and across this city many times and this moving company is by far the best we have ever used.
John is a straight up honest guy who takes pride in his work. His crew were polite, efficient and trustworthy. They know the city well, every little pothole!! I would highly recommend them .

Moving NOLA saved the day! I cannot recommend this company enough. Our scheduled movers cancelled the morning of so I phoned Moving NOLA, who did not hesitate to help me in my time of need. They showed up within hours (earlier than I even anticipated!) with 4 movers and a 15 foot truck and the local move was completed in about an hour and a half. 2 kayaks wouldn't fit on the truck and they were kind enough to load/unload our vehicle at each point. Absolutely professional from the first phone call. I submitted a slide show of our household goods. Alex got back to me the next day. He estimated 4 men and a 26 foot truck. Four men, masked, called when in route and showed up on time. They worked quickly, carefully and efficiently sometimes singing, sometimes talking movies. As there was room left in the truck they took many things I didn't think there would be room for.
We were 100% satisfied. Impressive. Very good value.

These guys (and gal) were amazing. They showed up on time to help unload from storage then I load again into a house. They were very professional and careful with all the items they moved.
They got the move done faster and better than any "friend move" I've done in the past and were great to work with. I will call them any time I move from now on.
I highly recommend using them for any moving and heavy lifting jobs.

Leave it to me to move during COVID and a projected major weather event possible in the Gulf. I am also the world's best procrastinator. I called Moving Nola less than a week before my move date. They were able to come the exact date I wanted and kept up w/ the forecast in case we needed to change the date. They arrived on time and stayed masked despite 90+ degree weather. They were personable gentleman and extremely efficient. Having made three local moves in the last 14 years; they were the best while being reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate

We used their labor only service to help us pack up our POD storage unit. They gave us great tips before even coming, suggesting we buy mattress pads and rope. They wrapped our furniture in plastic wrap to prevent damage and dissembled items for us too so everything would fit. We just unpacked our unit almost 3 weeks later after it traveled over a thousand miles and not a thing was broken or significantly damaged. Can't recommend them highly enough!

My experience with MovingNOLA was FABULOUS! John, the company owner/president, Katie & Brian were top notch professionals, super nice and delightful to work with. I have moved a LOT within and between 4 states over my 57 years and they are hands-down the BEST team I've ever hired or experienced with friends and family members' moving companies. I had a lot of old, heavy furniture I needed to have brought to the dump, and other heavy furniture moved to different places around the house. I just experienced the EXCEPTIONAL services of Moving NOLA today. I coordinated my move with John, and he documented the types/ pieces of furniture and the estimated number of boxes. He was familiar with my… building and location, so we were able to plan ahead for adequate truck parking in a busy NOLA neighborhood. Erin, Dani, and Brandon were my 3-person moving team, and they were timely, very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. (The 3-person team is genius by the way!) I moved out of a NOLA 3rd floor condo with maze-like hallways, and they maximized every trip on a slow freight
