I am leaving a review as there is no way the 5 star ones are real. MVL was the worst experience of my life. I paid for all items to be packed and shipped across country. When it arrived (sans stolen bicycles and a few other items) i was told that I had to go to a ATM to get 300$ cash if I wanted my items brought inside?! I paid for that. It was 8pm in the evening - as they started to SLOWLY carry my stuff in, no masks, not a covid protocol on sight, I began to see my belongings were mostly destroyed. They used no blankets, only a weird paper and it was 90% off of all items. No one at the company

Absolutely horrible. The worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire adult life. Miscommunication, lies, unprofessional, incompetent staff with no leadership. After two full months of hiding our furniture we finally get delivery with several broken items. Like they just threw out things around. The worst blow was when we unwrapped my husband's retirement gift after serving 20 years with USMC.... broken. My husband was really hurt on that break. We are now starting the claim process for reimbursement of our destroyed items and I fear we will get the same runaround. So much money was spent

Amazing! I'm so glad I contacted them. After hearing so many bad things about movers never showing up I was scared but everything was perfect! They were super careful with my things and walls. The driver was very worried about my marble table and made sure it was set in a specific way. The price never changed and they were on time. The guys were super nice as well, and polite. I will definitely hire them again next time. Thank you again for the care!

Cat, Shawn and Papa were fantastic to work with. They stayed in contact with me prior to arrival and showed up right on time. They went out of their way to take care of my belongings. Everything was packed and loaded with care. They used extra padding and crated small items. They worked carefully and efficiently to complete the job. They were friendly and respectful. Here I am to add my two cents to the mix. I went through Home Advisors to find a mover from Mesa AZ to Portland OR. Sam from Movers was one of the first I talked with. He seemed congenial enough though he rushed through the process. He gave a low ball price (which I knew) and then sent the contract and, my bad, I didn't read things through well enough to see he hadn't listed or listed incorrectly many of the items we discussed. So I called back and was told not to worry about it. They would take care of it on pick up day. Additionally, I was lead to believe that my things would be stored

I just completed a pick up of my home in Scottsdale from Ally Cat & Hugo. What kind and professional men from beginning to end. They went over and above to wrap and protect my belongings. I have moved over 7 times and to date, these guys were the best. Class Act, on time and communicated their timing and stuck to it! Very reliable. They were a pleasure to work with.

Who ever is on any site giving this company flying reviews must be paid by them. Horrible, they pester you till they collect their money when picking up your belongs and then that's it. I paid to have my things moved from LA to PA. They picked up September 20th. It's November 10th and I still don't have my belongings. No one picks up when I call, messages don't get returned. When someone does pickup, it's the same lite and excuse. Beware, don't use this company for anything!!!

At first I left a great review before they took off with our stuff. ( my bad) that was on August 10th. They will come and pack up your house for a fee, and not do a good job.

-FRAGILE doesn't mean anything even if they write it on the box.

We just used them and had an amazing experience. It started off with great communication from the day I inquired. The manager was so wonderful to speak with. And upon moving day, he gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were 20 minutes away which gave me a chance to prep. The movers were incredible to work with. So kind, efficient, took great care of our belongings, etc. What could have been a very stressful moving day, these men made it easy breezy (not for them as I had to watch them carry some pretty heavy stuff ) for us. It was a MONTH AND A HALF of unnecessary stress, anxiety, and sleeping on an air mattress.
The sales agent Sam, in hindsight is your typical sales guy, talks up the company to be great and all the things he assures you won't go wrong, does.
They keep your credit card on file, post paying for your deposit. In which I was FRAUDULENTLY charged $970. When asking their associate Amanda they said they do not keep CCs on file (Lie) and did not have any record of such charge... Turns out their accountant accidentally charged us... How ironic

I had an excellent experience moving with these movers - which is saying a lot for something that is inherently stressful. They were really responsive in providing initial quotes, and helping me to get everything scheduled. They were also responsive for all additional follow up questions I had. The move day itself was also really smooth. We had a team of 4, they were super fast, polite, easy to work with, and took really great care of all of our stuff. They were able to get the move done in a really reasonable amount of time. Will definitely plan on using them again.

I highly recommend this moving company. We needed movers for a bathroom project we've been working on. We highly praise these movers for their quick response, same day service, their professionalism and honesty. We needed to move our freestanding tub (350lbs) and bathroom vanity (240lbs) from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor in our new house. These men were very respectful of our home and handled everything with care. They're efficient, and honest with their rates. Please run far away and fast from Movers Van Lines. They are absolutely terrible and quoted me a price with a binding contract that doubled when the movers arrived at my home. It actually gets worse because they were several hours late and there were supposed to be 4 movers but only 1 person was there. The truck was not finished being packed until 1 AM. Once the movers arrived at my final destination, the movers opened the truck and I had broken furniture. The two movers recommended I contact the so called insurance company and I did so but my claim was denied! Please save yourself a lot

Let me preface this review by stating I used them because my mom was using them for her move and they packed her things three days before they packed me. I went from CA to NC and my mom from CA to TN. Here it goes:

Cannot say enough good things about these movers! Booking our move in date was quick and easy with them via email. Closer the move, we got a call confirming our start time and asking for any specifics around the move. The morning of the move, the crew was right on time. They quickly wrapped all our furniture and carefully carried everything out to the truck. Once at our new home, the crew quickly got to work carrying things into the house (on multiple levels!) and reassembling a bed and dresser before wrapping up. This company is horrible. I will be filing a complaint with the BB as well as the FMCSA. First their driver on pick up was trying to get me to pay him under the table for the additional storage space on the truck. This driver also severely damaged an expensive table by breaking the two sides/legs off at the bolts, then wrapping them in separate blankets like all was fine. The damage is ridiculous on some of my items, as well as a brand new Sony TV. Not to mention I put my stuff in their free 30 day storage facility and gave them notice before the 30 day deadline and they still tried to charge

Our things have been sitting in staging for over a month. We're already getting money back by the day and it still hasn't even left Vegas yet.
After seeing other reviews, I fully expect for things to be broken or missing. Without a doubt, this is the least reliable company I've ever come across and I am so disappointed that I chose them to begin with.
Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THEM. Pay for PODS or Uhaul, it will end up costing the same at the end of the day.

I booked my cross country service through Priceline Logistics (do No book through them either) my items were estimated and when The guys arrived there was an issue with the cubic feet not being correct the moving guy was upset at me when I gave the company all my items that were going on the truck so I had to send the first two guys away and when the guy next set showed up the next day they told me it will be an extra $300 to pack my stuff up. Worst experience ever, in my many years of moving. It's been now 30 days since my items were picked up and I have not yet received. The back and forth with customer service is insane and every week gets pushed delivery for another week. Before choosing to book with them, read the contract in detail before signing anything and that means before even before booking with them as they will not show the contract until they are picking your items up and as what they state verbally is VERY different on what is written in the fine line.

The most fraudulent and inept moving company I've ever used. I've used 7. Deceptive salesmen, unresponsive and careless. 3/4 of my furniture showed up broken. Broke and damaged items in front of me while moving out and in. Damaged floors, walls and doors. STAY AWAY. Gave them the opportunity to make things right, which they agreed to do and backed out.
The manager Mike is a complete weasel and fraud.
Refused to reply to BBB complaint. I am out thousands of dollars. Do not make the same mistake. They don't deserve a 1 star rating.

This company is THE worst. I hired them in June 2020 for a cross-county move from CA to FL. The company I researched was NOT this company. They are a subcontractor for IVL (International Van Lines). If you don't have time to read the rest of this review, I will cut to the chase. DO NOT use IVL, Mover Van Lines, or this company.
