I manage my parents house in Gearhart, and was put in contact with A&A through our housekeeper after she found some kind of dropping in the kitchen. Much to my surprise, I got a call from Alec shortly after I called their office saying he could be at the house within the hour. Again, to my surprise, he found several openings inside the house and outside. Had noticed some Ants in our house and before it got out of hand we reached out to pest control. Danielle came out, assessed the situation, was professional, personable, and really great vibe about her.
Kike, really cool gentleman from Hawaii, came out and did the spraying. Wow, he was extremely efficient, thorough, professional, also really good person to speak with.
It is rare to find folks that aren't in it for just money but genuinely want care for what they do and provide.
Pricing is very competitive and turn time was quick. I would also add that this is a privately owned business

Jorge came out and did a very thorough inspection of our place for rodents - he was honest and gave us suggestions to seal up some very small potential openings. Thankfully everything looked pretty good and he set our expectations appropriately with outdoor rodent activity. This is the third company we contacted for a bid and advice and I have to say that the honesty and straightforward advice was super refreshing. He wasn't pushing to sell me anything! These folks have been great. We found ourselves with rats and after all alternative solutions failed we called A&A. They were here within the hour and we got two rats before the day was over. A&A Assigned Russell to our newly purchased home when we were having a rat problem. He was SUPER knowledgeable and shared a bunch of insight into rodent prevention as well as setting up traps. Kike is the MAN! Great neighborhood company, would highly recommend. Very friendly, helpful & responsive to our needs. When we detected we had a rat living under our crawl space, Kike arrived the same day to check it out. He was incredibly friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. He made sure we understood what was going on, and implemented a quick & easy solution! Problem was solved within a day. He even went above and beyond to check in on his own agenda 2 days later. Jorge, our technician was great, very knowledgeable, careful and encouraging. He clearly enjoys helping folks and see his job as an enjoyable challenge. (I am glad someone loves doing this!) Turned out we had 7 rats in our overstuffed basement! Took several weeks to catch all the smart ones, but I appreciated that I could get just the services I needed, without a contract, and try trapping, not bait first. Other company wanted to bait first, and charge me a contract of $800. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Ask Keke, we had a ninja rat at my apartment! I couldn't thank him enough for getting this rat! I'm sure that it was in my apartment for more than 2 months, and during its stay it got domesticated hella smart and learned my routine not for the life of me could I trap this rat! I've been using this family owned business for 26+ years for all kinds of insects, rodents and critters that their business deals with. Having a natural yard they respected my desires and used "chemicals" that kept the spiders etc out of the house and in the yard. Recommend them all the time. Worst service ever! Got threatened to go to court?! Is this how you run a business? They said the did tge pesticides. On the same day came home to still see Ants still running around... Gave them a call, left them a voicemail. Now they say they never received any voicemail. Gave me a bad additude about everything! Asked them what is their plan to resolve the pest problem. I hate ants. Like... really really really hate them. I've spent so many hours and dollars googling and looking for remedies to get rid of them over the years, yet every summer they come back and I'm overrun. 3 years ago, I called A&A. Danielle came out and took care of them for us. We call every year when we see the first ant and never see ants again.

I just had a conversation with the owner of this business that was completely unprofessional and rude. Last year I had my home sprayed three times for carpenter ants, carpenter bees and spiders. Danielle the technician was very professional and I did notice an improvement after the three sessions. This year I get a bill in the mail for $66 for a treatment that had been done without my prior consent or knowledge. I called A&A in the process of getting quotes for services from several pest control companies in Portland. After two quotes from (unnamed) highly rated businesses here on Yelp, both costing several hundred dollars for simple rodent trapping and consultation, I had about tossed in the towel.
