The moving experience was fantastic. The workers showed up timely, knew what they were doing, and were very efficient. Getting some of our bigger furniture up into our apartment wasn’t the easiest, and they didn’t complain and were able to figure it out. There’s no way we could’ve done this move without them, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My movers, Antonio and Ryan, we’re extremely professional and efficient. I booked them for two hours and they loaded everything before their two hours were even up! What a bargain on the pricing too. This is definitely a great moving company.

Phenomenal moving experience with DC Top Choice Movers. Mike and his crew did an amazing job. They handled all of my belonging with the utmost care and really put me at ease with all the moving stress. They were courteous and energetic. Robin was the consultant who helped me schedule my move. He was also very courteous and was able to answer all of my questions. I felt the price for the move was fair and was what I expected. Top Choice has done 4 moves for us over the past year. Big or small they can do it all. Every single employee we met was professional, well-spoken, pleasant, considerate, and efficient. Always on time, great communication, and very clean equipment and trucks. I wouldn’t even think of calling anyone else.

I wouldn't trust the positive reviews. Look on Yelp, and many negative reviews on Google, at how the owner responds to negative feedback. The owner, Robin, personally attacks customers that leave negative reviews, claims they are fake customers, and has even revealed personal information on Yelp, such as name and employer. Childish and unprofessional. If things go wrong (and it looks like it's not frequent, but neither is it unheard of), the best you can expect from Robin is rude replies and insults.

Amazing! Great service very professional and efficient! All you would ever want in a moving company. My fiance And I have used them twice now. And this last time Durning a paramedic and they were awesome gloves masks and just all around nice guys! We moved from MD to WV on a mountain and our house is on a hill. No complaints no issues just great service! I highly recommend these guys for your next move

I scheduled a last minute move with this company and was glad to see they could fit me into their schedule. I did not realize they were only labor and I had to secure my own moving truck. When I told them I did not see this mentioned in their ad, the primary contact, a male named Robin, sent me 14 text messages explaining that they were only labor, and said I accused him of lying just because I asked about the ad. IMMEDIATELY, I knew something was wrong with him. I told him I reserved a truck and tried to get him to calm down, but he continued to send text after text,

Phenomenal experience with Michael and Deangelo. Booked them while booking my Uhaul and honestly, it was the BEST choice I have ever made for my back, shoulder, and parents. They were right on time, awesome to hang with, efficient, and careful with my stuff. We had two stops before getting to my new apartment, and they still moved everything out and in, in under the 4 hours we had allotted. Great experience and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We had an excellent experience with these movers at the end of August 2018, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any friend who is moving. We rented a Uhaul van and all we needed was someone to help carry and pack the furniture. This was the perfect (and very affordable) solution. We were doing a somewhat complicated move between three different apartments in the Dupont Circle area of DC, and Robin accommodated our multiple stops with no problem. We used this company while moving from a 1 BR apartment to a 2BR apartment one building over. We did not rent a truck, so it was ferrying items across the way on a hand truck or furniture dolly. Mike and Leonard were not only early, but got the job done early, as well.

After moving me multiple times during college and after, my Dad finally made me hire a moving company. I found them on the U-Haul site and they reached out to me a day later to set up the correct times and really worked to accommodate my schedule. I booked two movers for 2 hours for my one bedroom apartment. It ended up taking 2 and a half hours, which worked out fine because you just pay for the time you go over (the charge was pretty reasonable). Paul and Joseph were my movers and they brought multiple dollies and a roll of tape and plastic wrap. They put everything into the truck carefully

Some of the reviews here on Yelp made me wary of my decision, but that's why I've decided to leave one of my own and let you know I would absolutely use this company again.
My move was booked barely over a week in advance and they responded immediately, requesting run-of-the-mill details: loading/unloading addresses, summary of items, delicate or difficult items of note, and location terrain. I had a few questions related to my booking since it was done through a third party, and we emailed back and forth for a couple of days

While the movers were both very nice, I had to ask them 3 times to use the furniture pads I rented. They placed my wooden furniture finished side down several times, causing a great deal of scratching/abrasions on surfaces, as well as two holes in walls. I provided Robin (owner) photographic evidence of destruction, but he reported that because I carried boxes on the day of the move, he was free from any responsibility AND that he had asked his workers and they said that my husband

I worked with Joseph and his associate from DC Top Choice Movers this past weekend. They were both professional and very helpful! We moved a two-bedroom apartment to two different locations in 3 hours in the district, which is a remarkable feat! They are efficient and knowledgeable and can maneuver large furniture into small elevators! I'm very pleased with their work and professionalism. I am pleased to report that there was no damage to our furniture or belongings during the move! Hired DC TopChoice Movers through the u-haul moving helpers website, they offered one of the best deals and had a ton of great verified reviews. The two moving professionals arrived early completed the move in under 2 hours which was my optimistic completion time. The movers were both very efficient and professional.
I also hired the movers to drive the u-haul, and despite the last minute change the professionals were super helpful and ontime for the move. Following the move the driver offered to return the rental truck so I could go on with my day and still made it within the 2 hour window booked

I had a last minute request to unload my items to my 2nd floor apt. I spoke with Robin and Amy. I had to reschedule my appointment as the apartment mgmt asked me to remove my cubes.
In two hrs notice, Eddie and his partner Mike showed up. Outstanding service, these guys completed the job in less than 3 hours. They were fast, professional and understanding. They provided above and beyond customer service by accepting my unusual request.
I would give them a five star and highly recommend their service.
