Services
It begins with a dream; a home designed and custom built for you and your lifestyle. Or an addition or home renovation to have your existing home work better than you could ever imagined. Turning your vision from a dream to reality requires the thoughtful integration of many phases, takes many steps, and involves coordinating dozens of experts, skills and trades.
Renovations involve meshing the old with the new to get a seamless result. It is an art to get it right - one that requires experience and ingenuity. There are always hidden conditions which impact the process. Unforseen issues can arise- the key is to have the experience to be able to resolve the issue given the existing building conditions and thoughtful consideration of the best options.
First, create a list of what you Must Have. This list includes that spaces you cannot live without. It should include the items that have motivated you to consider a remodel in the first place. Include whole rooms, relationships between rooms, and and important details you want to include. At Pfahl Architects, we care whether or not your space is just right for you and your family or business.

The Pfahls sold us a house at 3909 Churchill Road, Charlotte NC 28211
in 2002 without disclosing that there was oil contaminated soil on the property from an underground oil storage tank. In order to obtain a clean bill of health from the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources we had to spend over $25,000. The Pfahls did not respond to our requests to assist in paying for this clean up. The Pfahls are unethical and should not be trusted in business transactions.
