Scott A. Martin Services has been servicing our oil burner / hot water heat for years. I've been happy with their work every time, whether it's been a routine cleaning / seasonal tune up, or an emergency repair. When I first moved in, we were with a bigger provider, and they were OK, but they were a little more expensive, and I just felt like an account number. The technicians from S.A.M. Services have always gone our of their way to explain what needed to be done, and why. And, it doesn't hurt that they're local!

Charged 4 times as much for a thermostat product than what it would be buying anywhere else. Did not make my family aware of this when installing. They didn't send the bill for months after, so we did not learn of this overcharge until the thermostat had been installed, and they tried to force us to keep the product. When this scam-like transaction and bill was discussed over the phone, Scott A. Martin himself threw a tantrum and hung up mid-conversation.

I have called the place 3x this season for them to come and service my furnace in Phoenixville. Each time the lady says she will speak with Scott and call me back. Each time, she fails to ever call me back. I wanted so much to build a relationship with a local outfit but how many phone calls does it take. Absurd. What kind of company works like this?

I have been using Scott Martin Services for over 10 years now. They service my commercial building and my home. They are second generation family business who is ethical, has fair prices and EXCELLENT service. It is hard to know who to trust in your home, who is not going to rip you off, and who you can rely on these days, but you will have no doubts about the honesty and integrity when you hire them.
