I had an emergency situation today and needed help with my furnace. I called around but only reached unhappy, overworked HVAC guys. 😆 Then I called Hydro Air, and my day turned around!! Jen was super bubbly and happy to try and help me. She sent a sales tech out within the hour, and he was awesome!!! He, too, was happy to help, knowledgeable and confident he could get this done for me. He left promising to call back within an hour with an update, and he did just that! They exceeded my expectations, and while we have to wait for parts to arrive for them to do the work, I know the install

Had Hydro-Air install a Buderus heating system and 2 York air conditioning systems in our home. Paid what we have since been informed was more than $10K too much for the systems and installation but, we thought quality and local care was worth something.
Some time later - 4 years maybe, during a routine service we were told that one of the a/c compressors had failed but, good news, it was under warranty. We were later told that this "warranty" replacement would cost as much as $2K. We could not afford it at the time so we said "not now."

Charged $125 just to come out, made a diagnosis of DOA in 10 minutes on a unit without any meter, testing or anything other than a visual. Said the whole condenser needed replacement. $4300 pls. Had another company come out, they tested everything, replaced a capacitor for $30, works like new. That same second company also reviewed the work done by these guys less than a year ago on another unit on the other side of the house. They of course did it wrong and it also does not work properly(Brand new, less than 1 year old). BBB is my next stop. You've been warned.
