Maintenance is known not only to extend the life of the equipment, but also increases the efficiency. The Owner, Dathan Alexander, started in the HVAC field at the young age of 16, working in his family's Air Conditioning business in the Bay Area. They worked primarily on Hi-Tec commercial systems.
In 2001 he moved to El Dorado County and worked with some of the best commercial companies as a Project Manager and Lead Service Tech. In 2010, he started working with Solar Power and energy efficiency evaluations. He realized there was a bigger need for highly technical systems that lowered power usage in order to save the customer money.
So, in 2015 he received his Contractors license and started Alexander Heating & Air Conditioning. At Alexander Heating & Air Conditioning, we enjoy finding solutions for problems that others just push products at. We are building strong relationships with those in our community, by doing it "old school" meaning, we do not sell something that is not needed.

Here at Alexander Heating & Air Conditioning, we want to take the surprise out of the service experience by giving you access to our price-book and explain the process of our service call. Now most companies don't want to give you a price over the phone, but we will and do one better. As you call in we set the appointment and dispatch one of our technicians.

Dathan & daughter were exceptional!
We had to replace our existing furnace due to power surges from PG&E during the Caldor fire which burned the interior components.
We received a reasonable quote from Dathan and we had a new furnace installed in a few days. Also Dathan came by twice to insure the new furnace was working properly and took the old furnace away.
If you need a new furnace I would definitely recommend Dathan and his company, Alexander Pros!

On one of the hottest spells of the past year, our air conditioning/heat pump decided to stop working. We are talking 103° weather here. We tried calling around to other businesses, but everyone said it would be a 1 to 2 week wait. Thankfully, we found Alexander heating and cooling online, via Google. The owner, Dathan, came the same day we called to inquire about service. What a friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient and helpful man! He diagnosed the issue, had it fixed and our ac running in under an hour. MIRACLE!! We will be using Alexander heating and cooling for all of our future
