I bought a Chevy Impala from here and in my trunk it kept filling with water and I told the salesperson I would go ahead and clean it out and drying out and see if that was the problem well then I had another problem a week later and the battery module was messing up so they take the car I was gone for a week to give me a rental everything was nice they treated me nice and fairly got it fixed the trunk was still dry I went to go put a system in a car and a trunk was filled up with water with a spare tire was again so I've been trying to contact this company again it's still no word been having

Buying a vehicle here can be a very good experience when dealing with Elvis. The salesman I dealt with was Duffy and I recommend using him if you want quick answers for your questions and if he doesn’t know at the moment he will take the time to find out. I saw a couple other very out going sales people. Buying a car should be fun and it was for me.
With that said when buying a vehicle here definitely pick out your own salesman don’t just take the first person that approaches you. The mood the sales person is in will be shown clearly. That’s really the only meh thing I can say about Summerville

Grant Chapman is a fine gentleman who went above and beyond to assist us after our truck broke down and needed to be replaced. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable of exactly what we needed. He even drove round trip to Walterboro so we could return our rental and helped us unload our truck which was filled for a six week trip to Florida! As a younger female, I don’t really feel comfortable with car dealerships and the pushy environment that usually tends to come with them and have had several less than ideal experiences with other dealerships. I had an issue with my vehicle and took it into Summerville Ford. Brandon Whyte was my Service Advisor who assisted with the repair of my vehicle and made the process smooth. He’s very professional. He ensured I received a courtesy ride from the dealership and back to pick up my vehicle. He informed me throughout the entire process of any updates. The Sales Manager Elvis also assisted as well. My truck was left here for a week for an oil change and do a quick look for a tiny oil leak. This is after being denied service once without an appointment. I bought my truck here 8 years ago and have had it serviced here for 8 years as well. Now things are a complete disaster. COVID has been going on for nearly two years. You would think a mainstream auto dealership would have the financial resources to properly manage things and keep employees. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE.

So this is for the service department. Sales is ok. Typical salesman stuff nothing great, nothing terrible. As for service, I've been there three times and well, three strikes and you lost my business. Had a hitch install with a purchase of a vehicle. It was the wrong hitch. Had an oil change much later.... Took 4 hours. The latest visit takes the cake though. Need an oil change and an alert message looked at. Great experience, from someone who changes vehicles often. First time I worked with Duffy we updated my wife’s Escape from a 2018 to a 2020. We had a conversation how my dream car was a Shelby GT500. Every since we would look at them as they came in. Finally went back less than 6 months and purchased a brand née F-150. Less than 30 days later Duffy helped me get a brand new 2021 Shelby GT500.

Huge waste of my time. Had an appointment at 3 for a simple oil change service. Dropped it off on time. At 430 my car still wasn't in. I was then told by the manager that cars never get in when their appointment is and that the appointment only holds a spot for you. Also was told by him that it generally takes 45 minutes to get a car in, even though my car was there for over an hour and a half after I dropped it off without being moved. We waited about 15 minutes and my car never moved even though there were no other cars in the shop. Meanwhile we are watching cars that pulled in after me

Took my truck for warranty work the second time for the same problem! The truck was there for a week when I picked up the truck everything that had been inside the truck had been stolen! The service manager told me they would not replace anything! They basically told me they didn't believe the items were stolen. The General Manager was rude on the phone and didn't care! I told him the truck was unlocked outside on his lot. His response to me was did you lock it when you left it here? If I could give negative stars I would!

The dealer in two different locations told us our vehicle was not covered. Ford Motor Company had to call them on 3-way phone to tell them our vehicle was covered.
The absolute worst customer service in the service department. They are perfectly nice when there is nothing wrong with your car and you're getting service. Or, nice when you're willing to pay out-of-pocket for a part that may actually be out of warranty. However

I called earlier today 9/17/20 and was told that I was getting a complimentary update for my GPS Sync 3. When I went to download the software I was given only one option (PAY) vs two (PAY or DOWNLOAD) and the only option I had to choose was to pay $40.00 plus shipping. I called Customer Service and he claimed that the VIN # determines the options on how I can get the software. I'm HIGHLY disappointed being told one thing and then finding out another. This place completely wasted my time. I was told by the "internet manager" Kelli that Summerville Ford is interested in buying my car. I let her know I was selling privately since you can't see the odometer reading but she insisted that the appraiser, Leland said he'd still take it. I verified again, and she said yes, he will still take it.

My most recent visit will be my last here for good. I've always been frustrated with this place when I have brought my car in for service. With my car no longer under warranty and now recently having to buy a new one, there's really no reason for me to go through the hassle they put you through. Yes it's closer and I went with Ford again but happy to go through a different location.
I mean come on, 5 hours and counting for an oil change. Not to mention the countless other ones I brought my last car here for, from oil changes to service visits. Their prices are astronomical as well

Pay attention to the reviews that say run from this place. I had my airbag recall done here and the results are sickening. They put a black airbag in my taupe dash. It's not flush, does not fit correctly. I am told all the airbag replacements are black and I have to live with this. Contacted Ford with this, their advice is to go back to the dealership. Why would I? This mess is my beloved Milan
