Kelly's Steam Carpet Care has been in business for almost 40 years, mainly in the Carson City - Gardnerville, Nevada areas, and more recently in the Lake Tahoe area. It is a privately owned business (not a franchise) that has serviced hundreds of residential and commercial accounts in the community.

All carpet cleaning is done with truck-mounted equipment and high quality cleaning solutions. In addition to carpet cleaning, our services include pet odor control and repair, furniture and carpet repair and restretching, stain removal, carpet protectors, and flood and water damage cleaning and repair.

This was the most incompetent company regarding customer service from the office staff I have dealt with in a long time.
#1 the appointment was not kept
#2 when I called to find out why , I couldn't get a reason other than I will find out for you and get right back to you.. 15 min later I had to call back to still get nowhere after waiting all day for this to happen.
#3 the van showed up without the driver ever being contacted.
The office staff is clueless of how to treat potential customers.
I would never recommend them to anybody ever.
Everyone's time is important.

I had my carpets cleaned yesterday and Kelly's Steam Carpet Care did a fantastic job! I strongly believe the last company that cleaned my carpets only sprayed a deodorizer on the carpet, leaving every stain on the carpet that was previously there. Kelly's removed every spot out of my carpet, including the ones that the last company did not remove. I highly recommend them.

We were from out of town and were on a tight deadline to get a house moved out and cleaned in 3 days. Gail was helpful from the beginning and accommodated us for a Sunday cleaning. Since we didn't know anyone in town, she also enlisted her grandson and friends to help us with some labor moving. Ron came out on Friday when we arrived to give us a firm quote and then came back on time on Sunday to do the cleaning. The carpet came out better than we expected (it was BAD!) and the odor treatment (smokers and cats in the house) did wonders! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was nice to deal with

We had a bedroom that smelled like cat urine and gave specific instructions for the carpet cleaners to concentrate on the cat box area, especially behind it where there were cat urine stains. He didn't even move the cat box, but cleaned around it in a wide circle. Needless-to-say, the stain and the smell were untouched. I had to clean it myself later with a store bought cleaner. Complete waste of money to the carpet cleaners. The last time we hired them, they did a good job. I'm not sure why they did such a terrible job this time.

Serviceman had run late about an hour but he was doing his job alone so it wasn't a big problem. He came in, did a very good job and left. The carpet looked and smelled clean and my husband and I are happy customers! Will definitely use them again!
