We worked with Jayson and he was great! Jayson was very knowledgeable and able to answer a ton of questions. We were able to get financing with a zero interest if paid off with in a time period. His team of installers were punctual, quick, and polite. The carpet we chose looks great and is very durable with our kids and dogs. I would highly recommend this location if your looking for flooring. Also... we were able to save around $4,000.00 compared to the other three quotes from competitors.

Working with Norvan at the Carpeteria store on Main St. Ventura was a very pleasant experience. He was very patient and kind as I took my time to make a selection. He was well informed with each of the products. He was never late for any appointments. We moved to Ventura 2 1/2 years ago and updated the carpeting when we moved in. We went to Carpeteria and met Humberto, who is a gem! We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, patient person. Three months ago we decided to update our bathroom area and changed to a wood floor from a tile and carpeted area, and without a thought went back to Humberto. Humberto worked with us on a difficult change in floor heights between two rooms and made sure things came out perfect. He made two separate trips out to measure and discuss all of our options. So happy we met Humberto, we recommend him

Update:Carpeteria Ventura, CA. Spent 5k for what Norv stated was a nylon & silk fiber carpet. Had it tested and it's not! Some kind of cheap poly blend. owner absolutely downright lied to me! One year old carpet is matted down and worse they pieced. in right in front of couch! Spoke to owner Norv several times sent pics and he does NOTHING! He will come in and RIP out to put in laminate wood however, I will be charged for it! How is this helping? Please save yourself from this crooked carpet man who does not care who he lies and takes advantage of. Very ripped off!!

I was happy with my purchase and installation. . . until I had a problem. They were happy to take my $11K. It was only after I contacted Norv this past August with my concerns, that forces me to write this single star review. Norv, I gave you plenty of time to respond to my emails. After sending you photos of the damage of my linoleum flooring and your lack of response forces me to let people know, there is no customer care once your flooring is installed. The owner of this store, Norv, is a pathological liar and will do anything, say anything to make a sale. Once he makes the sale, he tells different lies than he told to make the sale and starts negotiating the job and its parameters without regard to the terms of the sale. It was THE WORST experience we have had with a vendor. We ultimately canceled the job and got a refund although we are waiting for our credit card to show that the refund has been made.

Showroom is great. The prices only ok. Customer service is very bad. Carlos has not taken care of us. It took way too long to get the flooring. Even longer to get the molding a to finish the installation. We returned a molding because it was defective. We have been waiting for about two months for the replacement. I have called them about six times now. He always tells me that he thought it had already been picked up. I guess they don't keep records, or remember my phone number! Once they have your money, they care nothing of you. I will be buying elsewhere when we do the upstairs!

Whenever I see a 5 star review on yelp, I am always skeptical but willing to give the business a try. Prior to coming to this store, my husband and I made calls to other stores for pricing and services and made a decision that we will keep on shopping till we decide on the right one. The store owner Norvan not only provided impeccable service, he gave us many reasons to make it our first and last stop. Not only was pricing well below what we expected to pay, the contractors he sent over to do the job showed up on time, finished earlier than planned, were very professional and did a phenomenal job

Mike was amazing to work with. We bought carpet for two rooms a hallway and stairs. He helped us choose the perfect carpet for our condo. He showed up on time to measure everything and we got really close to our original estimate. It was actually $100 less than expected. He was professional and honest. His crew showed up on time and completed the install faster than we expected. Overall we had a great experience with Mike and Carpeteria and will use them again. Our carpets looks so good that we changed our mind on selling our condo. :)

While remodeling our kitchen, we reconfigured where our appliances were going and needed a few more tiles. I emailed Carpeteria and received a call within an hour about the tile. While the tile is no longer manufactured we were able to go to the store and purchase old stock tile no longer used that was a close match.
We are so appreciative and impressed with the quality of service and personnel that when we need flooring we will be using this Carpeteria will be our go to place. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

I was planning on installing hardwood and carpet in my house. I went to Carpeteria and requested a bid, Kris came to my house, she was very professional and very efficient. Two weeks later we have ordered material.
