Ally did a great job on my recent move. Scheduling a truck was easy and all done online. The team communicated when they would arrive leading up and including to the morning of. They brought all the right equipment and took the time to handle all our items with the proper care. I forgot to communicate a second stop but the team was quick to responsive to the issue. Cannot recommend Ally enough to someone looking for movers in the DMV!

I used their moving services last week, and I was very happy with the result - the movers arrived on time, and they were professional, courteous, delicate and careful, and patient with some last-minute additions. Ally was not the cheapest option, but they delivered great value that ultimately was worth it for me. We had a sudden death in the family in an apartment in downtown Washington DC. I needed a mover quickly in order to vacate the apartment. Ally fit us in and we were so grateful. They were clear on what they would do, their charges, times for moving, etc. The followed up the day before to double check everything. It could not have gone better. They were on time, professional, friendly, communicative and especially of all, honest with their charges. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled my move date online, and made sure to email them the exact contents of my home, so they had a complete understanding of my needs. When they were 20 minutes late, I sent a text asking if they were lost, or late .... And they called back and said that I had somehow been dropped off their schedule!! Yikes!!!
But they made it right... pulled a crew and truck together ASAP and did the job that day. The guys were super speedy and wrapped my furniture carefully, although one cabinet handle did break in the move.
They would have gotten a firm five stars if it were

Amazing team. I called them last minute 4 days before my move, and they communicated very clearly and efficiently with me to figure out details. Morning of, they sent a text message letting me know the ETA of the truck. They moved my furniture and boxes safely and protected all my furniture.
Upon arriving to my new location, I was living on the 4th floor (8 flights of stairs) with no service elevator, and the team was flexible and moved all my things without any complaint and finished quickly. My furniture was also reassembled in a timely manner and they protected the carpet at the new place

Using movers for the first time, I was overwhelmed with which company to choose and what was a reasonable quote. There was no question with the quality of Ally. Completely worth the price and hassle-free move. Received a phone call the day before discussing details of the move and the timing. Received texts and phone calls the day of ensuring everything was on track. Ally kept great communication with me every step of the way and handled each piece of furniture and boxes with care. I want to give a big shout-out to Team Jonathan at Ally Moving. They were terrific. The team included Jonathan, Samuel, Franklin, and Carlos. Each member of the team worked extremely hard, was very polite and professional, and made sure we were satisfied. They paid attention to all the details and took care to make sure the place we left was kept neat and clean and that our new place was well attended to. I've used Ally Moving twice, once in 2019 and they handled some last minute adjustments as well as expertly moved my stuff.
When I moved again in 2021, I used them and Team Johnathan was great. They carefully handled my furniture and, because of covid, wore masks the whole time.

Ally Moving was AMAZING! This is the second time I have used them to do my move. Ally communicated with me ahead of time calling the day before, then texted me the morning of with the contact info for the team that I was assigned. The team (Rene, Carlos, and Vanessa) quickly got to work padding the furniture and securing an aisle way through the apartment complex to move the boxes/furniture down to the trucks. When unloading the items at our new house the team used door buffers and floor mats. Our two bedroom apartment was loaded, unloaded ,and moved in about 3.5 hours. I could not have done

Ally moving was great! Jonathan, Jose, and Rene just moved us out of our house today and into a storage unit while we're renovating our house. They were fast and professional, and worked through the options to get our refrigerator moved down a narrow staircase into the basement. We will be using them again when we move back into our renovated home in a few months.

Ally Moving is very responsive and efficient when it comes to moving. From the second I booked with them, everything was well organized and arranged accordingly. I got calls to make sure all my information was correct prior to my move. On the day of the move all the movers wore mask and gloves to protect me from COVID-19. The crew was really respectful and was able to move me in a quick and organized manner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND--this company is for real. We used Ally Moving to move from Washington, DC to Virginia. The communication before the move was impeccable and they answered all of my questions without any hesitation. Additionally, they were incredibly flexible with my needs in regards to reserving building loading docks and the timing needed.

I called Ally Movers for my move from Columbia Heights to Kalorama on short notice.
The team was EXCELLENT. The communication was so organized.
I received multiple emails confirming my appointment and providing cost estimations.
On moving day, the team arrived early. I didn't have to do or say anything.
They came in, wrapped everything and piled up their truck. They met me at my new apartment and placed all the furniture exactly where I wanted it

Ally delivered great service at a great value. The crew moved right in, protected our home, helped disassemble some furniture, and perfectly protected our furniture during the move. They were well prepared with two trucks and correctly anticipared that we might have underestimated the amount of stuff that we needed to move. They were efficient and effective and quickly got us into our new home. The crew was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and a joy to work with.
