Luis Patraca, AC repairman came to do annual cleaning - never used Air Medics before - AND NEVER WILL AGAIN. He said there was black mold all through the vents and I'd need a UV light. I asked him how much. He replied, "REAL expensive."
I asked him again and he said at least $2500.
Then he said the freeon was low, must be a leak. I told him there was no freeon in the system - that had been outlawed years ago. He said it was just what they called refrigerant. I asked how low, he said about 4 gallons. I asked, out of how many. He asked, 11? 12?. I asked him how much to fill in the missing gallons

While working the crap of the pandemic I get lied to. I’m busting my butt day in and day out but they don’t like the contracts they make. They lie to people depending on them. I purchased a new HVAC system through #Airtime HVAC, and paid $16,768 on 8/23/19 (less than 2 yrs ago) #Airtime was bought by Air Medics, and I was told they would honor those contracts…LIES!! My contract states 10 yrs parts, 2 yrs labor, 2 yrs PMA. They are saying that I need a new COMPRESSOR?? And refusing to cover labor, which may exceed $2800… You WONT HONOR MY CONTRACT, I WONT DO BUSINESS WITH YOU. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

BEWARE!! Scammer! Air medics came out under a home warranty plan because I was not getting any cold air. They told me my coils were corroded and needed to be replaced because they were leaking Freon so badly. They then said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get the coils and that the coils plus installation would cost $5500. They suggested I look at getting a new unit which they would be happy to install. Thank heavens I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out the blower was bad. Home Warranty company sent out another repair company 3 days later and they replaced the blower. Magically the air conditioning

Our 4 yr old AC stopped working. We called Air Medics to come out. The Tech told us we needed new ducts and a compressor. All this would cost over $10000. After consulting with a couple other companies, all was needed was the drain pipes and air handler pan cleaned. In about 30 minutes another Tech from another company had it up and cooling. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Air Medics to anyone.

Had Air Medics come out for 2nd opinion after a different company said we needed a bigger unit and 2 additional returns. Tim said that no system size was fine (system is 2017 - 2018 installed prior to us buying in 2018) and that the insulation was original to house - that new insulation and 2 returns in the back would solve our problem. That made sense since our A/C is blowing cold, and with the added savings bonus from his boss waving $600 in taxes sounded ideal.
So I was sold - Tim seemed knowledgeable and that this would solve our problems. 2 guys came over next 2 days to add returns / replace

This company must be buying reviews. Extremely rude techs show up to service the units. When installing ducts in my home they put a hole through our ceiling. We were told we would have portable a/c units placed in our home while the duct work and install were done and of course, we weren't provided with that until the last day of the install after fighting with the company about it. In the middle of summer. Please do yourself a favor and use any company but this one.

Tim will sell you on a new unit and a great experience but you'll get none of that. Tim stood in my home holding up a thermometer to the vent saying it was definitely putting out more CFMs than before the new unit was replaced (it wasn't). When I asked him exactly what it was he was holding and how he knew that, he admitted it was simply a thermometer but INSISTED he just knew it was more CFMs. What an absolute joke. No one at the office cares about your experience or complaints. I truly urge anyone wanting to use this company, DON'T. They have zero integrity and all you'll have is money spent

I used this company for a new AC unit install that they did back in September 2019 in which they charged over $12,000. They was called again a few months later due to a leak and the unit not cooling. I was told by the manager Tobby that the line set fluids was contaminated and that it need to be changes,. Alone with the $79 service charge the cost to do the repaired would be an additional $5,769 which was not covered under the warranty. Fast forward to today I called another company which came out, found the problem which was an improper install. They was able to get me back up and running for

Having Air Medics come to my home for a second opinion was the best thing I could've done for my a/c. Tim was so knowledgeable and for him to take the time and explain everything to my husband and I are the reasons why it has a 5 star on that alone. The customer service on the phone was also amazing. Mike and Luis are by far the best guys I've ever had out to do work for me !!!!!! Both where extremely respectful and worked like 2 gears together.
