Be careful, this company has drivers that are responsible for egging people. No matter how much you try to get ahold of someone, they ignore the situation. They claim to have fired one employee, but it is still happening. One person has been hospitalized, how many more will be injured????

A driver at this company threw an egg at me while I was on my way to work, quite embarrassing to have to show up to a meeting with egg all over my suit and tie. Quite frustrated that I had to have my clothes specially cleaned.
Come to find out that the company knew about this for months and did nothing about it. There are about a hundred other stores I would recommend you buy furniture from before you do so here.

Awful service & the owner does not take accountability for their employees actions. Beware if you purchase anything from here you may be pelted with a frozen egg when your delivery arrives.

Terrorizing the community by allowing their drivers to throw eggs at women, children, and elderly people for over 2 years.

This business has allowed one of their drivers to roam the city in a box truck assaulting people for weeks.
When confronted the business owner has lied to the victims. First claiming the person was a temp hire, not an employee. Then I called and they claimed they were renting their trucks out during all the incidents. Shocking considering the Facebook group formed to catch their employee has reported dozens of incidents across the city.
All these incidents didn't come from one person renting the truck. Stop the lies and take responsibility for how you let your trucks be used.

Owner has proven to be consistently dishonest; employees are not held accountable for extremely inappropriate behavior.

Be very specific of delvery time and dates. Know as much about what your looking for and your price range before you go. No real resolution for any issues once bought. So due dillegence advised.

My Aunt's experience was a nightmare. She purchased a sofa and love seat that was ripped on delivery, and not to mention they broke the front door and tore up the wall. And now do not want to do any repairs on her furniture or replace them. They did not fix the door or the wall that was damaged. They also did not compensate her for hardship. She did not hear from them until she called them. IF YOU EVER WANT GOOD QUALITY FURNITURE, DO NOT SHOP AT VALUE HOME FURNITURE.

Thanks Norma and the owners for the great service. I just moved from California and bought my house in Chicago area. I was looking for a a place to buy my furniture from for great price without the huge markups. I was referred to Value Home from friend and Google as they have good rating. I went to their shop and was greeted by Norma who helped me get my living room, bedroom and Dining room. Maribel? The owner told me it will take about 15-20 days as it was custom order. Yesterday 15 days from when I ordered they called me and delivered my furniture and they guys they sent were professional

This place is awesome, they have original pieces that you don't see anywhere else and the owners and staff made everything simple and easy. They are a gem. Their prices are great and I'll definitely be coming back for my dining room set I want. Highly recommended.

Do not conduct any business at value home furniture.
we have purchased two sets of defective mattresses at this location.
the first set took months to replace. the second set has not been replaced to this current time.
mirabel the owner is rude, dishonest,and a liar. she refuses to replace our mattresses. she has ignored our calls and letters.the business has been reported to the better business bureau and the ag office
do not shop at this store fellow chicagoans.
