I love my new kitchen!! We just finished a big kitchen and guest bathroom remodeling project with Gary Faith Construction and could not be more pleased. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Our house was an ugly duckling, with a 1980s floor plan that consisted of a tiny disjointed kitchen, separated from the rest of the house. The bathroom had a tub so tiny, it was practically unusable. The fixtures were dated and tired looking. It was overdue for a change but we were reluctant to start such a project, thinking it would be overwhelming.

This review is long overdue! From the very first meeting, we knew Gary Faith Construction was the one for us. After my elderly mom with demetia died, the townhouse was not in good shape, we were planning on moving to San Diego but needed and entire remodel including 2 1/2 baths, kitchen, all floors, paint and completely redesigning the kitchen including switching from electric to gas stove. We didn't even know if it was possible.
We were embarrased to have him come out for the initial walk-through because the place was packed with collectables and lots of stuff our mom hadn't gotten

From the moment, we met with Gary, we could tell that he was an honest, hard working contractor. Gary and team built a 400 square foot addition on our house in 2019. Gary's price was very competitive, he stayed on budget and on time (actually finished a tad earlier than expected), and we are extremely happy with the addition. He was there on time every day and was very communicative. We had a six month old and 3 year old at the time and the team was very respectful about that and helped us to keep our kitchen intact and usable for as long as possible during the process.

I love to see all the five stars considering Gary and I had an appointment to go over all the work I needed done on my home and on my property . Not just a remodel but a variety of fair substantial projects that were on the Inspection report and NOT addressed at the time of purchase. I made an appointment to get an estimate for work and also to submit to my attorney because of fraud between the two realtors . Gary and his team helped me to remove a horrible 70's looking mirror wall. He was super quick to respond and easy to work with. Gary and team remodeled our kitchen this past winter and they did a fantastic job! We originally chose Gary because he responded quickly and even brought his cabinet contractor to the consultation.
Everyone on Gary's team was an absolute pleasure to work with and his sub contractors were exceptional.

Wasted a lot of my time on calls, texts, yelp exchanges then refused to take on the project, didn't even bother giving an explanation. During text exchanges complained I require "too much attention" after I sent him literally 1 text and 1 Yelp message before new year's eve, due to expiring new year's sale, during which I had to get an answer from him on some equipment purchase. One of the worst experiences I've had communicating with a contractor, and I've done a lot of remodeling, a lot of projects.

Gary Faith Construction is a top notch company with Gary actively involved in every step of the project. During our house remodel (bathrooms and kitchen, which turned out beautiful and will be reviewed in a separate post), I threw a curveball at Gary. I always wanted a lift in my garage to work on my car hobby. However the ceiling has a height issue preventing the adequate use of a lift. Gary told he me he could address this for me by reframing the ceiling by building a soffit and giving me an additional 6 1/2 inches of lift. Originally I had my doubts. Gary and his team were terrific. They showed up on time every day, were courteous and efficient, and wore masks. Gary was very professional, detailed, and easy to work with. Whenever there was a minor glitch that I brought to his attention, he cheerfully had his guys come back to fix it without any hesitation or argument.

After many interviews and quotes we chose Gary and his team to rebuild our kitchen and it was a great choice!!! Gary gave us a price and plan that fit in our budget! They came in on day 1 and did demo on the whole kitchen!! They kept right at it from there on!! Always on time, always someone here and the project moved very quickly!!

We had a miserable experience with a different construction company and had to abort the job and file a CSLB complaint and take them to court. I was beside myself with the fact that so much time and money was wasted and their work had to be torn down it was so flawed. After lots of talking it over and looking into many companies, we chose Gary and his team to remodel our old kitchen!!! They came in and did a complete demo and were here nearly daily after that!! Our kitchen was redesigned, our family room got new floors and paint and our dining room also got an update... It took just 4 weeks!!!

This review is a year late, but GFC completed a full remodel of our home. They previously remodeled our old home. Their professionalism, courtesy, and follow-through were amazing once again. This project involved everything from sewer lines to a new roof, to a new kitchen, flooring and master bathroom. Gary and Chris are so good at seeing potential issues and getting ahead of them. They present a timeline and get it done. Obviously, issue come up but GFC always addressed head on and promptly. None of my neighbors had nothing but compliments of their crew. The contract he drafted was honest, through, detailed and returned quickly. Compared to other contractors who were unreliable, cheaper but had hidden fees, and sometimes never showed

I hired Gary and his crew last year to to remodel our house from a 3br to a 4br and add a half bath as well as a master bath. It's been about a year and I'm still impressed with the quality and the finish work.
It's hard to find a contractor that knows what he's doing, actually shows up and works until the project is done, communicates with you, and doesn't gouge you on costs. He, Chris, and his crew were all super friendly and respectful of the house and kept things as clean as possible. I've had bad experiences with other contractors cutting corners but GFC left

Gary is my Go To Guy when I need anything done around the house or yard. If the work is outside of his scope he always has a good reference that I can use. I am having a bamboo problem fixed by one reference right now, plus more yard enhancements, had my roof and gutters done just a couple of months ago, and had my exterior trims & doors done just prior to that. I've used his services now for at least 8-10 years.

Had our master bathroom remodel done by Gary Faith Construction, and am totally happy that I went with them.
We are picky, and have a LOT of questions. Through it all, Gary, Chris, & team were there to work with us, and make sure we were left happy.
The bathroom came out looking beautifully. Just gorgeous.
And this includes AFTER the project was completed. As we slowly started getting settled into the new bathroom, any questions or minor tweaks we needed, Gary worked with his to make it happen.
