Paramount Pest Control
At Paramount Pest Services we handle all your pest control needs. Whether you have outdoor pests like fleas, ticks, spiders, mosquitoes, bees, wasps, raccoons, possums, or indoor pests such as silverfish, spiders, cockroaches, ants, mice, or bedbugs let us handle them for you. They are not only a nuisance but pose numerous health concerns for you and your family and pets living in and around your house.

We do not offer "free" estimates except for our special event and outdoor spraying. We would rather give you professional advice and help set up an IPM with you than sell you on services you may not need. IPM (Intergrated Pest Management) is a broad based approach that integrates practices for economic control of pests.

IPM'S aim to suppress pest populations in your home or business. We will come set you up with a program that is right for you and your family. If the only option is a chemical approach we will handle that for you. Moving forward with an IPM allows you to keep populations of pests under control.

No one wants to be out in their yard and find themselves being bitten by mosquitoes. More than just an annoyance, mosquitoes are known vectors of a number of potentially serious diseases. These diseases range from malaria to West Nile Virus and Zika. Some of those disease can create serious health problems and have long term effects on those bitten.
Reducing exposure to ticks is the best defense against Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and other tickborne infections. Know where to expect ticks. Ticks live in grassy, brushy, or wooded areas, or even on animals. Spending time outside walking your dog, camping, gardening, or hunting could bring you in close contact with ticks.
Cockroaches have been around for millions of years, evolving into some of the most adaptable pests on Earth. There are approximately 4,000 living species of cockroaches in the world. About 70 of these species are found in the United States. Cockroaches are commonly found in buildings and homes because they prefer warm environments close to food and water.
The black widow spider is the only native spider that is venomous in Maryland. These spiders are fairly common in our state and surrounding areas but are usually found outdoors. The female spiders are considerably bigger than their male counterparts and often kill and eat them after mating! These spiders are fairly easy to identify if you ever come across them with their signature red hourglass mark on their underside.
Before you can do a successful ant identification, you need to first understand a few details. When you see an ant, it's best to look around if you can find other ants with same characteristics. All ants live in colonies and almost never travel alone. Many ants will follow along a trail, which serves as their foraging ground.
