To generate revenue to help Union Gospel Mission fill the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter for the poor in our community through reconditioning and reselling donated vehicles. After that, our sales staff will do everything possible to match it to the right customer, generating revenue for our homeless services. UGM Motors strives to earn your trust and your recommendation with integrity, high standards and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Great staff good prices on common beaters some better than others, lots of them pretty bad. But great for project vehicles absolutely! They go over the car and give you a report about it's past, I believe their salespeople don't get commission, support a good local cause and get a car from honest people.
I stopped in and just asked, 'Could I be of any benefit to you guys? I know a little bit about boats - could I be helpful?' And four hours a week turned into a lot, lot more. But the result is people who are extremely happy with their boats, and we have provided thousands of dollars in meals and housing for the homeless, and that warms my heart.

UGM Motors is not an ordinary used car lot. They accept automotive donations that their mechanics repair or restore for resale. I had an older GMC Suburban that still ran well; but I got a newer one. I wanted to do something useful with the old one. So I donated to them. Any proceeds they can get goes to support vital ministries that lift desperate people out of bad situations. From women's shelters, to recovery centers, to getting people back supporting themselves, it's a cause that benefits the Spokane metropolis. I also looked over their large car lot. They do not get very many pickups or large

I recently purchased a '98 GMC Suburban from UGM. The people here are wonderful. No pressure salesmen. They have their ASE certified mechanics go through each vehicle and give you a report of anything wrong with the vehicle (Basically a vehicle health report) so you know what you are buying up front. I had one minor issue the vehicle and they took care of it for me free of charge. I would buy from UGM again and recommend them to my friends and family. Best part is, the money goes to a good cause! Since buying it, I have done some improvements, polished paint, new wheels and tires, etc, looks great

Got a Saturn from here and have had nothing but problems ever since! Dealership didn't seem to care and still has the shady car dealership attitude. You would think that a place that works for a cause to better another's life wouldn't project problems onto the very people helping make this happen. Please don't waste your time. Needed a reliable easy going car and not only out of money the car repair bills keep piling up.

Very nice people that work here, they have lots of USED cars, trucks, boats, snow blowers, & tractors for sale on the lot & upstairs. Good fair prices & lots of smiles, plus the sales go to a good cause to help the people if you were to look into their mission.

After calling to talk with the dealership manager about the way we were treated we were told he was out on the lot. I sent in an email slip to be contacted, naming the individual we wanted to discuss and stating we were upset by how were treated by him. A short time later we had a call from the sales associate on a phone number we never gave him. He told me the manager had left for the day and that he had answered the phone earlier and he hadn't been on the lot at all. He started apologizing and then he got even ruder. Not only had we not given him my number or name but he was clearly trying

I went here to ave an oil change and tune up, usually that means they check fluids. Two days later I found I had no absolutely no coolant in my vehicle. I chose them because they are supposed to help the community, however they could do the job for a paying customer.

Stopped here on my way back home to Canada and the service is nothing short of fantastic. Our spark plugs and cables were bad and decided to quit just as we were leaving Spokane. Pulled in to UGM in a bind, about 90 minutes before they closed and they made sure to get our Jeep checked and have us back on the road.
Highly recommend.

I dealt with Tom Frederick and he was straight forward with me. I was looking into purchasing a vehicle from long distance sight unseen and he was kind enough to suggest I have a 3rd party look into the car and before purchasing.

I can't say many car dealers or car salesman would suggest that be done.

I thought he was a very straightforward guy and honest about the car.

I had been following a car that UGMM had for sale for many months, a 1968 Chrysler Imperial. The price was pretty high so I just kept an eye on the ad. After a few months I called to feel them out on the price. When I noticed it was STILL for sale a few months later I figured I'd call and talk turkey about the price, obviously they had priced it too high and had had it for almost a year with no sale. I spoke with the general manager, Tom Frederick, and had a long conversation about the car's condition. Being in Portland, I was going to have to go by what he told me on the phone,
