I recently shipped 8 50 lb boxes and 1 50" TV from Seattle to Pune through UniRelo. Overall the experience was pretty smooth, from the time I initiated contact with them to the time I received the packages in India.
UniRelo personnel mentioned that one of my boxes was received by them with tears and after getting my permission, covered my packages in tape to ensure that they wouldn't tear up or open during transit. The TV itself was received in a wooden pallet and I examined it before signing off on the delivery. The UniRelo team in India coordinated with me to get the Customs clearance

It was an easy move of my stuff from US to India. I ended up with 30+ boxes - they could have packed them tighter into fewer boxes but it may not have made much difference. Took a long time to load the stuff onto the ship in SF, USA. Took about 3.5 months for my stuff to get to Bangalore, India. Customs clearance process in India took a good portion of a day. Overall, prompt pickup & delivery - stuff came in good condition.

They provided a good service for scheduling pickup and timely delivery. Their price is too high compared to other relocation services like 'Earth Relocation'. Problem started after delivery was done. Lot of my stuff arrived damaged. I clicked pictures of damaged goods and emailed the POC in Mumbai along with several emails. They didn't reply or answer calls after several attempts. I received their reply after 2 months saying the claim is supposed to be filed within 45 days of delivery. Their insurance service is a scam and they never accept claims. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

I used this service to ship stuff from the US to Bangalore. I was told the delivery date would be between 2-4months and I got it delivered well within time in the 4th month. All my stuff including TV and some glasswares were intact and there was no such remarkable damage as such to the items except some wear tear of the cardboard boxes at corners which is quite possible in long-distance shipment. Used Unirelo to move 8 boxes from US to India. The overall process was smooth but takes time as there is a lot of logistics that goes into it. The communication was fine, don't expect updates every day/week, they update when the status changes which can take some time.
Overall a good experience, the boxes were intact and a really economical way to send stuff overseas.

I had used UniRelo 5 years back to ship house items overseas and was happy with the service provided and hence decided to use them again, but turned out to be a bad decision.
Work items :- disassemble a bed, bunk bed, small dining table, wrap sofa, 2 mattresses. Apart from that, we made sure that all the boxes were packed and ready, not even a single loose item left out. Move all the above items to publoc storage (~5 miles away) apart from assembling just a bunk bed at a different place in the neighborhood. So, apart from bunk bed there was no assembly required. I did not imagine that they are

Please beware of this horrible, fraudulant company. It was a nightmare working with them. I would like to sue them in court for the mental stress and trouble they have caused during our move back from US to Bangalore.
Beware of all the false promises they make. Once your container arrives at your location almost 2 months later than promised, you will end up paying for customs, even though they take money for custom clearance. When your things arrive at your home, they will then announce that you will be charged extra for unpacking and clearing debris. Even if they have charged you for it.

A friend and I used this moving service to relocate from Berkeley and downtown San Francisco to the Sunset, and we were very unhappy with our whole experience. After agreeing on a moving date, signing a contract for that specific date, and paying for the minimum three hours, I was informed that they wanted to move my date because they had overbooked their trucks and movers. I replied saying that I was not okay changing my moving date, and they emailed me back that they were going to change my date regardless. My friend and I decided to move our schedules around and just make it work.

Be careful with this company - I'd suggest never ship your goods through them - they seem to be fraud. I have shipped my goods from US to India back in October, 2015 and this is April, 2016 (almost 6 months) and I haven't received my shipment yet. There is no proper response to my emails and phone calls - it's just frustrating.

Quoted $99 per hour for 2 men to move my stuff. Was up sold by charming owner a 3 man crew for $129. Paid a deposit of $150. Next day I call back to change date to two days later and the reception is decidedly cooler and he advised it will cost me $149 because of the switch. I've already paid deposit so I'm screwed and agree. (First red flag)
