Complete Apartment Renovation: Complicated by the building elevator shutdowns for renovation, we had a complete gut renovation of the apartment to complete in less than 90 days. We transformed a fabulous, over 17 foot Kitchen and island opening into the Dining Room was a phenomenal entertaining center to this home.
Kitchen Design, Living Room, Dining Room: The goal was an open plan, starting with the major transformation of the kitchen. This required a DOB permit, Landmark Approvals, a vented hood, and moving the gas range which slowed the process down, along with a strict timeline for moving back into the apartment for starting school after Labor Day!
Renovating a Master Bedroom & Bathroom on the Upper West Side (See the Walkthrough Video!). Even with a larger bathroom footprint, this outdated bath needed a major gut renovation. Even though the basic fixture location was not changing, we used every inch and as much sustainable material as possible to transform this Master Bath.
Complete PPW Apartment Renovation: Complicated by the 100-year old conditions, this complete gut renovation included reconfiguring almost everything from the mudroom, open kitchen adding a washer and dryer, upgraded electrical and opened the kitchen/dining room floor plan. We reconfigured the master suite and closet to include the tub to shower conversion of the master bath.
Complete Gut Renovation: DOB and Landmark Permits. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath and integrated through the wall PTACs, this estate condition apartment required a complete HVAC upgrade in a Landmark District. Coupled with extremely difficult Building management, and our client living in LA we were able to transform this apartment into an open, modern oasis!

I had a terrible experience with Paula McDonald. Much like the reviewer prior to me, I met her at a a design show in manhattan, and i found her rude, insulting and condescending. She had no interest in listening to my project or explaining the process. I just wanted basic information on how she worked. She merely snubbed me and said she had a $200,000 minimum. My project will cost at least that much! To quote Julia Roberts in pretty woman, "Big Mistake"......"HUGE". Run (don't walk) the other direction from this vendor.
