Evaluation of an existing building including components such as walls, windows, roofs, floor plans, room layouts and equipment resulting in a summary report of the findings. I have worked with a lot of architects, designers, builders, and contractors over many years and many projects. Scott and his team are by far the most professional, hardest working group I have ever worked with. If you are looking for a quality that you thought was outside your budget you will be pleasantly surprised. He gutted an apartment in a land marked building and created an apartment that fits perfectly in the space. The quality is stunning, and everyone who has seen the details, are impressed by the care and thought as well as the workmanship.

Combine two one-bedroom one-bath units into a single two-bedroom, two-bath unit with a single new kitchen and a laundry room, and match trim and flooring between the two combined units.

I can't say enough about the positive working experience and amazing outcome from my collaboration with Design Build Workshop. Scott Rothman was very hands on. He answered all my questions and elevated the design aesthetic I had originally envisioned for the space. He stayed within budget and the work looks like I paid 3 times what I spent. I am loving all the compliments I'm getting!

STOP… don’t hire Scott and Design Build Workshop. I would give zero stars if I could.
I would not recommend them to anyone, this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Scott will promise a lot during the sales cycle and once you engage everything changes. He will try to force you to use his vendors and come back with prices 3 to 4 times the price of what you can source from other vendors with similar quality and finishes.
Trust me find someone else.

DBW did an excellent job from start to finish for our private Upper East Side school adding a new banister from ground floor all the way up to the 5th. Planning, fabrication, scheduling, installation, and post installation follow up(s) were spot-on.
Their quality, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines are second to none!
Although the scope of this project was not large in scale, DBW is well capable to take on just about anything.
