We strive to contribute to living in harmony with our environment by intercepting wood destine for the landfill and creating beauty and value from it. The employees have the eye and the skills necessary to bring that beauty out in a way that is appreciated by many. We also strive to make work someplace we want to be and we allow a blurring of the lines between work and the rest of the lives of our team members.
We start with the wood and cut it into veneers about " thick which is glued up to a " plywood platform. The result is a board which is more stable and less susceptible to shrinkage than solid wood. To start with we use an thick veneer which can be sanded and refinished multiple times. The widths and lengths we offer in engineered are the same as we offer in solid wood.

We purchased reclaimed milled cedar from Historic Woods by Lunar Canyon, the install is complete, we could not be happier. It is so gorgeous. The customer service was great, very fast delivery time. We installed in a master bedroom on a wall that is 15 ft long, it is better than I had even imagined.

I can't say enough good about Historic Woods and their team. Their custom made wood pieces can't be beat! Not to mention their huge selection of wood that I could go in and hand pick for the projects I was having made. I have custom made book shelves, frames, floating shelves and a beautiful coffee table! All beautifully crafted and built to last! The staff was always very friendly and timeframes spot on! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Ordered a 20x20 shadowbox via Etsy from LunarCanyon. I LOVE everything about it!! I needed this to display an autographed drumhead. Nothing available commercially would have worked for this project in terms of size, and this product is so incredibly lovely. I was a little apprehensive about wood color, but this couldn’t be more perfect in my home. And so much more reasonably priced than having a custom shadowbox made locally, too. Great value for the price, and appropriate packing ensured damage-free arrival as well. Order with confidence!!!

I have gotten many things from Historic Woods over the years and have never been disappointed! They made several items for my wedding, including my gorgeous cake stand. Most recently they made toy blocks for my new baby! I love that they are so versatile and can make any dream a reality! Could not say better things about this company and their products!!!

We put in a large order of wood, made a deposit of $300. We were told that we would have all of the wood within a week, a month passed and we tried to call them multiple times without response. When we finally got a hold of them, and explained why we were so frustrated, he laughed and was hard to work with. After I said I would just return the few pieces we had and get a refund, he told me that I would need to pay a 15 percent restocking fee. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! Way too expensive, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could give a company negative stars, it would be this

Thought this would be a great place to purchase reclaimed wood for several projects. Kyle indicated that I would have the product in 10 days, 10 days turned into 45, I finally received the product after multiple phone calls and stops into the shop, in all it took close to two months to receive the wood. The product was hastily prepared, thickness was inconsistent and the "factory" distressing wasn't applied to all of the planks in the bundle. Customer service is lacking as well as a sense of urgency. Needless to say we will be shopping else where for 2000 sqft. Of product for another project.
