I submitted a request for more information on a vehicle and their response was to ask me when I was going to come in to purchase this vehicle. Does that tactic actually work on people? Even if my dream car was here, I would go somewhere else. I would have loved to actually talked to someone and made an appointment to come in and I was planning on purchasing the vehicle, but not now.

Words cannot express our gratitude today!! Principle Toyota went above and beyond to help my brother out with replacing a flat tire. He desperately needed this done today, since he was there for a work trip, and he had to drive back home today. They fit him in and got him back on the road. Special thanks to James in the service department. He was very helpful and made our stressful situation feel like his top priority. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Every time I have come to this location in the past year, the service has been terrible. They literally ignore you in hopes that someone else comes to your car so they don't have to. If I were closer to the Whitehaven location, I would ONLY patronize the Whitehaven Toyota location.

Please avoid principle toyota for servicing your vehicle……..they took 6 hours to service my car, still they couldn’t service my vehicle, i had to come home without servicing my vehicle….. please save your time and money.

2 hours for service with an oil change. I sent a message to John and I'm still waiting to find out whether my car is ready. No answer. No thank you for your service.
So we arrive on time and there is John who explained to me that Lexus would provide service for free. Uh, yeah but they don't have any appointments until next Thursday so I need it done. Then I'm told that it will be 1.5 hours if they have the part and 2 hours if they don't.
Why so long if they don't? Someone will have to drive to the Lexus dealership to pick up a filter. Really? Hmmm. Did I not have an

Customer service isn’t what it used to be. Front brake replacement and rotating rotors has gone into the 4th hour. I was told 1 1/2 when I arrived at 9 this morning. As they’re apologizing and telling me what will happen next time..... I interrupt immediately to inform the service manager that there won’t be a next time for me!

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!

I sent the following to Toyota...

To get right to it, this is a complaint about the Toyota dealers in the Memphis, TN area - Principle and Wolfchase.

My wife has taken our car to Principle several times over the past few years and the service has gotten progressively worse. Today was the worst. She called to schedule an oil change and the greeting from the service desk was "We don't be has nuthin' til Friday!". There was no greeting such as "Hello", "Good afternoon", "May I help you?" or anything of the sort.

I went to look for a new car today. The sales pressure at this place is about as high as it gets. The salesperson cared about what he wanted and not about what I wanted. He kept talking over me, actually arguing with me, and interrupting me in an attempt to get his way. And then to put a cherry on top, I got a call from their customer service dept. while I was driving home. They called me from a number that had my area code, which happens to be an out of state area code. I'm still wondering how they did that. But the intention was clear. They wanted to make sure I picked up the call

I had a wonderful experience with Performance Toyota in Memphis , Tn . I purchased a 2007 Toyota camry at the Winchester location , They performed a vehicle inspection on this car and found out it had a upper valve cover leak , and they were very honest about it , so I decided to buy the car anyway with cash as is , 2 weeks later I took the car to Firestone to have it repaired and Firestone tech discover there was absolutely no oil on the dip stick , I immediately called a representative at Performance Toyota and the asked me to bring the car back to them , and I did they checked it out and found

I have been going to principal Toyota when they were located on summer ave in 1977 and were listed under a different name. I bought my first Toyota from Jerry Melton whom is still with Principal Toyota. My service manager is Bob Fredricks and he and his team have always done an excellent job on my vehicles no matter what the issue is. I highly recommend this dealership weather buying a car or just getting one serviced.

I bring in my Toyota Prius for service at Principle Toyota because I trust their work to be good and at a fair price. Yesterday they got a new tire on and my wheels rotated and my car aligned. Quick in and out. Friends tell me the dealer is too expensive, but I have yet to find this with Principle. It's a drive from Bartlett, but to me it is worth it, and for 5 years I've brought my Prius in. Thank you Bob, David, and Shay for another good experience. You guys are the best!

I've been here twice for service. The waiting area is very comfortable. They provide free Keurig coffee, tea, and hot cocoa as well as bottled water and snacks. All for free. Free Wifi and popcorn too.

My service advisor both times was Bob Frederick. Very prompt and friendly.

If you need service, they do a great job here.

Horrible. They talked my wife into replacing 2 tires for her Yaris @ $132/ each, plus mounting/bal & alignment. Brilliant strategy since they pretty much know u'll be back for 2 more. Sure enough, 9 mos later, 2 more tires, same price, plus mounting/bal & alignment.

I estimate she paid at least $150 more than necessary for 4 tires, had she just gone to Costco or a decent tire place. Oh, and on the second effort, the clowns in the back managed to break the tire stem of one of the 9 month old tires when they rotated it to the back. It slow-leaked and was flat the morning after
