Alan Webb Mazda was the perfect car dealership from start to finish. I met sales consultant “Red” on my first visit there and he took the time to listen to what I was looking for even though I was very clear I was not buying nor even sure I wanted a Mazda. He did not hound me after I left that day and weeks later he reached out to see if I had found what I was looking for. I ended up going back and so glad I did. Ended up buying a new CX-5 and couldn’t be happier with how it all worked out. The entire staff I dealt with at Alan Webb Mazda was top notch and made the experience a great one

Short story, I will never purchase another Mazda vehicle, I advise you against it.

Alan Webb Mazda are criminals and treat their customers horribly.

They should be ashamed.
Long Story:

In Summer 2020 my MX5 had a piston slam into a valve under warranty. I went to Alan Webb and they said they would not cover the repair. They made stinks about oil changes (which they performed), and other noise that frankly didn't make sense. I drive the car for leisure, no racing or modifications.

I got an attorney, paid $400 and they immediately replaced the engine and owned their part.

The best experience I’ve ever had with a service department!!! I brought my Mazda CX-5 in with multiple issues. Before coming in my car was not running the best. I’ve taken my car in the past to other companies for car repair/oil change etc. and was not impressed. After my experience with Alan Webb Mazda, I would not dream of taking my car any where else. The staff at the counter, as well as the mechanics, were extremely friendly! I would like to personally thank Lindsay and Andy for phenomenal service!!! I have had 2 very different experiences at Alan Webb Mazda. My buying experience was amazing! It was the best experience I have ever had when purchasing a car. However, my experience with the service department has been a complete disaster. The service department seems like a totally different place. It is disorganized and seems like an after thought. The wait times are insanely long, the only service rep seems frazzled and confused every time I have interacted with her and she seems to be the only one working there. Never taking my car to this dealership again. I had to schedule an appointment 3 weeks before at 8am because they had no other openings which I was fine with. mind you I live and hour and a half away so I had to leave my house at 6:30am to drop off my vehicle because my car kept popping a code up (PO302). so I showed up at 8am and they were kind enough to give me a lyft to my friends house. Several hours (4) went by with no calls or texts about my car. I was wondering when they'd call me and tell me about my car because its only supposed to be a one hour diagnostic. One generally dreads car shopping - which might be part of the reason I've had the same car for 13 years - but after evacuating from the recent forest fires in OR through dense smoke in my old car, I decided it might be a good idea to have a reliable one instead.

I searched online and found the used car I wanted, and it seemed to be at a reasonable price point here at Alan Webb, so I made an appt. and drove up. This was probably one of the easiest sales transactions ever. I worked with Ryan, who was great, very friendly and personable, as was Justin, the finance guy.

Your client was my mother. So you can try and discredit my review, and my personage, all you want but I was involved in the interaction and I dealt with Olivia on my mother's behalf.

My mother only asked that Alan Webb stop interacting with anyone other than her because of the incredibly unprofessional conduct being displayed by employees and the shockingly slippery offers of what we would actually be paying and what we would be receiving that had been mentioned and not delivered more than once.

I have the vehicle. It is mine. So... there's that.

Terrible service!! I went in for an appointment for a test drive and not one of the people there were friendly. I had a set appointment with Olivia to test drive and I sat and waited for over 20 minutes for the car that I asked for to show up. As I waited, the sales people just stared at us, didn't even make sure we were ok or ask if we needed anything. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership.

I had an unfortunate experience at Allen Webb Mazda this week due to internal miscommunication on the service department side. I voiced my concerns and it was professionally and promptly handled by a woman named Leslie. I don't know her position in the company but I would like to send her a thank you. I have been going to Alan Webb for service for 4 years but I have never seen someone handle a situation so well. Keep it up Alan Webb . It's a new world and costumer service like I experienced is the way forward.

I went in for 30k mile service. When car was finished I was told I didnt need new air filter or cabin filter because they looked like they were recently replaced. I appreciate them not just replacing them and charging me when I didn't need them. I will definitely go back

I was in the market for a different car. I happened to stoppedin at Alan Webb just to see if they could do any better than the Portland area dealers, and met up with Manny Vargas. I had never really considered Mazda before, but let me tell you how happy I am that I came in!

First, Manny took his time to discuss all my options. We walked through several vehicles, and we talked about all my needs. I drive quite a bit for my job and side business, so safety is priority 1. Mazda has so many safety options on vehicles, its quite extraordinary!

Let the games begin. What a frustrating experience. It started well enough by searching in the usual ways as well as creating a search via TrueCar which generated quotes from various dealers, including Alan Webb. The online sales rep was responsive and worked to get us a very competitive quote on the car we wanted.

It was when we went back to the dealership to start the purchase paperwork that things took a turn for the worse. Same old car dealership games. First the sale price was wrong - sales person runs 50 feet to the sales manager's office and returns a minute later with new paperwork

Walked in to buy a car. I stood in the foyer for 5 minutes. Made eye contact with 2 guys that walked past me without saying a word.
I knew what car I wanted to buy - that I'd seen online. Finally, another guy walked past me out of the managers office. I asked him if I could get keys and go out and look at it.

He said, "We don't have any salesmen right now to help you". I asked when they would? He replied, "In about an hour".

I laughed and said, "Ok, I guess you don't want to sell me a car - I'll find one somewhere else." He didn't

Brought my car in twice. Once to repair a tire leak and once to update the infotainment system with Android auto. The first time that told my wife her tire was not leaking (the very next day Les Schwab pulled a nail out of it). The second time they updated the software to the latest non Android compatible instead of what I asked for. Communication is poor

I had requested a quote online and Olivia Lyon was prompt in getting back to me. She explained what she had in stock and she gave me an awesome price on a vehicle. I had a better price from another dealer and she met the price.

We had been looking at 3 different dealerships and 3 different cars. Did a test drive at another dealer and were very put off by the salesperson. When we went to Allen Webb and were met by Devin . He was so pleasant to talk to and his knowledge of all the models we looked at was incredible! We let him know up front that we were looking at other dealerships and not ready to test drive. There was no pressure at all from him which we appreciated very much. Went home and did more research and decided on the CX 5. Went back the next day and worked with Devin and it was the best experience we have ever

I wish I had looked here on yelp before I bought my car here. I have a hilariously long list of how these people screwed me over 3 years ago but today I found out through my loan lender they managed to tack on 6,000$$$ extra in itemized bs fees without even mentioning over half of them and when we noticed off the bat our first bill balance was high they said it was because it showed the total balance with interest and that it would fall lower the more we paid. Today I found out that no, we still owe almost what we originally thought we were paying for the car. I can't even get into the issues

I took my 2016 Mazda CX 9 in for its first oil change at the 5000 mile interval this past Friday. Alan Webb Mazda Service Department was excellent. I did not purchase the vehicle here but this dealership is the closest to me. I bought my vehicle at Gladstone Mazda.

We had scheduled an appointment for 9 a.m. and I dropped off the vehicle a little before then. I was greeted by friendly staff, Megan and Jessica who quickly added my vehicle to their computer system by using the VIN. Megan quickly figured out I had purchased the Vehicle Maintenance package and said they would have the vehicle ready

I have been trying to find a new car that I want to own for about six months. I've been into Webb Mazda with no success. I've been thinking of trying again, but just got thru reading all the reviews and have decided it isn't worth the stress and frustration to even try dealing with these guys. They should read the reviews and attempt to rectify the customers concerns.

It would be illuminating to see comments from clients who have been contacted in an attempt to restore their standing.

At this point I'm not a potential customer.

+1 star for Kyle and Bobby for being decent overall sales people
-1 for the lies that I caught them in ( recall wasn't done on the cpo car when they said it had already been taken care of, "vin etching is required on all cars we sell...")
