Titan Moving and Storage, LLC is a fully licensed and insured moving company located in Alexandria, VA. We have been performing residential and commercial moves in the Washington, DC metro area since 1999 and have a long list of satisfied clients. To reach this goal, we prioritize customer service and the quality of your moving experience.
In order to ensure your move goes well, all of your possessions need to be packed in boxes in order to protect them during transit. For a typical move, we will pack your house on the first day and move you on the second day. Some customers decide to pack themselves (which is fine); however, we encourage you to be sure that everything is completely packed.

I am reluctantly writing this review since I rarely write a negative review. However, I hired this company after interviewing others because they impressed me as a company that really cared about the customer. I needed to move all my contents of my home into a storage unit with certain boxes in the front of the unit that I could easily access. I emphasized this over and over, even labeling boxes “To be put in front”. I made sure when they loaded the moving truck that these boxes were loaded first in, so they would be last out. I can say unequivocally that Titan Moving & Storage is the finest moving company that my family has ever worked with, and we are unbelievably grateful to Ted and the rest of his team for their phenomenal work on our most recent move.

While planning to move from Alexandria to Arlington, I called several different moving companies, and received many estimates. Titan moving was the best price. They came into my apartment for a free estimate. We then set up a date and time to move. Three guys arrived exactly on time. They got right to work, we're very professional and efficient. The move went extremely smoothly. The entire move took less than two hours. When it came time to talk about the bill, it was exactly what was promised with the estimate. Overall an excellent experience! Will definitely use again and recommend

OUTSTANDING. I have used Titan three times in 12 years to move locally within Arlington/Alexandria. Each experience was the same. I was in good hands and my moves progressed without a hitch. Ted, Will and the team are consistently:

Titan moved my massive accumulation of furniture and packed boxes from my two-flight-up garden apartment to my new single-family house. They arrived ahead of time, and executed the move smoothly and efficiently, also finishing ahead of time -- and saving me several hundred dollars off the initial estimate for the move. My only complaint (really a nitpick) is that a few items clearly labeled as destined for certain rooms were left in the wrong rooms. I only mention it because it has made unpacking a wee bit confusing at times. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic job!

The owner of Titan Moving and Storage Company, Ted Bowler, and his team assisted my elderly aunt and uncle with their recent move-- all the details were handled delicately, efficiently, and with great expertise! Ted and the crew at TITAN Moving (USDOT 1042323) are really great to work with. This was our second time using Titan out of Alexandria, VA and we couldn't be happier. Ted comes and gives an in-person consult/estimate - He even gave me some recommendations to consolidate some items beforehand to save costs! The crew arrived on time and did a fantastic job - I won't use anyone else!

I highly recommend Titan (out of Alexandria, NOT the one in Chantilly). I had not moved in 28 years and Ted, the owner gave me the 'Ted Talk' assuring me what I needed to do to be ready for his team. I followed his thoughtful directions which helped immensely. In turn, the team did their job and more, and the final bill came in under the estimate.
When the Titan team arrived, I stood by in awe. I have never seen a more efficient, hardworking, and professional group. Everyone took the greatest care of my things and moved me so quickly that I am still amazed

Titan was wonderful about helping move my mother's household goods in Falls Church to a storage unit in Reston, with an intermediate stop nearby. Mom had just passed away, and I was numb. They were on time for the estimate, early for packing, and right on the spot for moving day. the guys were all business, but still kind and careful. Smoothest move I've ever seen.
Best of all, no breakages, and the final bill was nearly half of the estimate. Will use them again if necessary, and recommend highly to others.

As others have noted, you can call Titan and rest assured of a great moving experience. I used Titan last month to move furniture out of my father's place. The movers were friendly, efficient and fast. They delivered to three different addresses without blinking an eye. The owner showed up to make sure everything went well. The price was very good. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Any local moves I do in the future will be done by them. The move was perfect in every aspect. Titan is a small local mover that has been in the area for years. The owner is very dedicated to a job

Was very satisfied by hiring Titan Moving & Storage!
This was my 7th move in 7 years and this trip was very smooth. Ted and the crew arrived on-time and with great attitudes ready to work and get the job done. This was a 5 hour move plus 1 hour travel time (Industry standard in this area) from VA to MD utilizing 495 Beltway from a house to an apartment complex. The apartment required using a loading dock, elevator and a long travel distance down a hallway to the apartment.
Everything was delivered and without harm or incident. They even got my 208 pound 1st generation High definition TV delivered

I used several local movers over the last 10 years for moves in both Alexandria and Arlington. I would not hire one of them again. I used Titan this time and voila, a top notch company at long last. Competent, friendly, on time, deliver as promised, do not exceed timeframe--in fact my job came in under the quote. Not one broken item. No waste of time food breaks, no smoking on the job, professional, courteous. Everything handled with utmost care. I couldn't be more pleased with their work. I highly recommend them and would I would hire them again without hesitation.

My husband and I used Titan's moving and packing service in June for our move from an apartment to a townhome. They did a fantastic job from the get go giving us a free in-home estimate of what the move would cost with and without the packing service. Everything was packed beautifully and moved into our three level town-home without damage to anything. All of the movers were friendly, respectful, efficient and extremely professional. Titan came highly recommended to us and we highly recommend them to others as well!

Extremely rude!
We had heard great things about this company and made an appointment for an in home estimate. Aside from arriving over 15 minutes late (not sure what this may say about their timing on the big moving day) we found the man (one of the owners!) to be extremely rude. He insulted myself and my fiance and scoffed at the fact that we had even thought his company would be a good match for our moving needs. He easily could have come and gone within 5 minutes, but seemed to relish in staying for over half an hour insulting us. I have never seen such a lack of professionalism, and I cannot

My girl hired these guys to move her on July 2 and we were extremely satisfied with their performance. They sent three guys over - Will, Aaron, and Andy - and all three were very professional, efficient, and treated her property with extreme care and respect. They were pleasant to work with and were very accommodating to what we wanted. Very awesome to work with and I'd use them for my own move and recommend them to others too!
