Services
When talking about hardwood flooring installation we are referring to solid wood flooring installation (3/8, 1/2, 5/8, inch thick) of any type or species of wood, with an unfinished or a factory prefinished face. In this category the only major difference will be between the unfinished and the prefinished hardwood floors, as the thickness or the width of the wood planks does not affect the process of installation very much.
Changing the layout of a room when remodeling a home will most likely result in ugly holes in your wood floor. Those holes will have to be patched. The estimator will determine the type of wood and check the subfloor. For a hardwood floor installed on top of a wooden subfloor the patching is easy and the only challenge is determining the species of wood and the grade.
Over time, wood floors can experience a buildup of oil, dirt and grime which can lead to a greying of the wood and an overall tired and worn appearance. When this happens, it is important to re-finish the floor which will restore it to its former glory. The process of sanding a wooden floor involves cleaning, sanding and staining.
After all the time and money spent sanding and preparing a wood floor ready for staining it is important to get the next step right. Before staining commences, it is critical to ensure that the right preparation process is adopted. In fact, staining can be the most important step of finishing or refinishing a wood floor.
After the stain is dry the floor has to be covered with the desired finish. The customer has the option of choosing between a water base, oil base or acid cured finish. When applying a water base finish the stain has to be completely dry and the compatibility between the stain and the finish needs to be checked.

Adrian and his crew (Peter) were fabulous. Floors in my new condo are engineered hardwood. Some contractors said they couldn't be refinished, but I hated the color and there were many scratches from the previous owner. Adrian did a great job sanding and refinishing at a very reasonable cost. I can't believe I even thought of replacing the wood because Floor Squad made them look brand new. Absolutely love the floors now - color and quality of the finish. Definitely recommend these guys. Great customer service as well.

I cannot say enough about Adrian and his staff. They are expert at what they do, they are reasonable, and I've hired them at least 4-5 times. Most recently they saved me a good chunk of money on a property we're selling. When the inspector (the worst- I'll be posting about them soon) for a potential buyer came in and made some of the most ridiculous comments on their report, one of them being that we had termites. We ended up losing a sale because of this. My mistake for not calling Adrian earlier. He came in, took one look at it and said its not termites. He sent one of his
