My name is Patrick Dymora, and I'd like to thank you for considering Plus Hardwood Flooring for your next hardwood flooring project. Allow me to tell you a little about myself and my company. I founded Plus Hardwood Flooring with the intention of providing the best possible experience for homeowners seeking to have work done on their hardwood floors.
Project Details - This job was for a local customer who wanted something out of the ordinary. She really loved the way the raw flooring looked after we began the refinishing process. After consulting with her some more about finish options we decided that the best finish would be Loba Invisible, which would give the floors a super matte looking appearance as well as a very light, raw looking color - just like bare wood.
Unlike the above finish systems, this new technology doesn't leave a plastic film layer on top of the floor. Instead, the natural oils and waxes in this product bond to the wood from the inside and form a water tight coating that is very durable. The true beauty of these all-natural Rubio Monocoat floor finishes is that they look nothing like a standard floor finish.
We offer only the highest quality hardwood floor stains in order to ensure that your hardwood floors will last for years. We use only the finest materials from start to finish. We use both Duraseal Quick Coat & Bona Dri Fast as our stain providers. Below are color charts of both Duraseal and Bona. Please be aware that stains will look different in person.
We are proud to announce that we are now exclusively using Loba Water Based Finish as our main supplier for water based finishes. Water based finishes are environmentally friendly and provide a look and feel that an oil based finish cannot compete with. Loba produces some of the finest water based finishes in the industry as well as sealers that provide a beautiful and rich color to a stained floor.

Patrick and team are awesome! They are very knowledgeable and experienced, using the latest techniques and products. They installed hardwood in two rooms on my first floor, blending it perfectly with my existing hardwood floors elsewhere. They then refinished my entire first floor, which looks amazing.

100% recommend these guys. Patrick and Paul nailed it, literally...They knew exactly how to narrow in on the stain we wanted, which wasn’t easy. Craftsmanship was on point. They were on time and super professional. Paul is a machine by the way. Patrick knows everything, which made it easier as the project was a new experience and I was way out of my comfort zone. The price was very fair. Gonna have them back for the next hardwood floor project.

Patrick and his team helped me pick out the baseboard design and stain. I could not decide what would look good and Patrick did a great Job coordinating colors to go with the house. He would be a great interior designer. Fantastic work he and his team were fast on time and knocked the entire house in 4 days. I was surprised at the detail they got every crack and nook stained perfectly. This is the only company I would recommend and they have done work for my family members homes. 5/5 *

Restoration of a neglected 100+ year old Chicago home needs plenty of TLC from experienced professionals. Our floors were water damaged, stained and had definitely seen better days. The guys at Plus Hardwood were familiar with working on old Chicago buildings and made us feel comfortable leaving our home in their hands. They helped us stay on schedule by completing 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen in one week. Also assisted in picking out the appropriate stain color and finish for our particular floors. We couldn't be happier with the results!
