Hardwood floors are ideal for allergy sufferers as they do not promote dust or harbor dust mites. Hardwood flooring is longest-lasting.
Custom or designer hardwood floor can be extremely unique with a variety of wood species, colors, textures, and finishes we have in our offer. Being on the market for over 25 years, we have worked with a number of architects and designers to complete exactly what our home or business owners want: a beautiful, durable investment that increases the value of their home or business.
Over the years, many hardwood floors develop small splits or cracks in the surface of the wood. Another common hardwood floor issue is the development of gaps between planks. If your floor is suffering from large cracks, however, you might want to think about refinishing the floor.
Wood is a dynamic medium. Like all organic materials, it has character and quirks, responds to its environment, and changes over time. Because of its "personality, " wood should be treated with understanding and a certain amount of care. For wood flooring professionals, knowing about the properties of wood in general, as well as those of individual wood species, is critical to proper installation.
