I had an oak floor laid down in the 1950s that had seen some neglect and abuse in its time that I was looking to get refinished. GB Hardwood Flooring had the lowest quote and were extremely communicative throughout the whole process. They showed up on time and got the project finished in a few short days. The final product was better than I imagined and had me kicking myself for not having it done sooner. Great company!

George was easy to communicate with by phone and text and his crew did a great job sanding, staining, and sealing our first floor hardwood on time and at the estimate price. We got the look we wanted on time with no surprises. Pricing was lower than the average of the 5 quotes we received and the finish was very smooth. We wanted water based for the speed and because we have small kids. We came back in 3 days to a house that was clean and floors that were dry. High praise for the guys at GB Hardwood.

We had some damage to our condos wood floors from our dog that needed to be repaired. None of the other flooring companies would give us a quote without having us do the all the floors. George gave us a reasonable quote, and was able to do an incredible job repairing and staining the damaged area to match the rest of the floors. Very easy to work with and communication was a breeze. Highly recommend!

I've been working with a lot of contractors over the last 6 months ranging from large jobs that cost tens of thousands of dollars all the way down to small installation projects that cost a couple hundred dollars. George and his team provided everything I look for in a good contractor.

We just bought a house and needed refinishing of the hardwood floor. George gave me the most affordable quote amongst several companies. Initially we just wanted the flooring, but decided last minute on replacing the base trims so George gave us a quote the day of starting. Even with the base trim, his guys worked very fast and worked at least 12 hours the first day. They finished the entire first floor and base trim in just 2 days. The floors turned out great and exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

I had a really good experience working with GB Hardwood Flooring. They gave me the most competitive price by far. George was very responsive and patient explaning all the steps to me throughout the process. He also handled well a problem with regards to not initially finding my fuse in the basement and was able to tackle it soon. The experience with his team doing the work onsite was good as well. I would definetelly recommend them and use them myself for future flooring projects.

I had a floor squeaking problem and I asked George for help. I texted him around 10AM and he showed up at my door at 1PM the same day. Even through it was a problem that he couldn't service, George kindly spent time explaining the problem to me and suggested the service I should contact. I hired GB Flooring to refinish the hardwood floors at my mother's home. The entire experience from the initial meeting to provide an estimate to the finished job exceeded my expectations. They were polite, prompt, and professional and I appreciated their attention to detail and cleanliness. The Oak hardwood floor was installed 6/2019. The floor boards were observed served to be separating in February 2020. The gapping was so significant in areas that two nickels could be placed side by side in the gaps. We called the GB Hardwood to inquire and was told this happens in Winter as the result of low humidity & that the gapping is present even in their own floors. I hired a HVAC guy to install a built in humidifier on my furnace. This did not remediate the gapping. I waited until summer, since that is when the humidity is most abundant & still the floors did not return to normal

I needed about 700 sq ft of engineered bamboo flooring installed, and I'm glad that I was able to find George and Benji for the job - they were great to work with, fast on the job (finished in 2 days), and made sure to communicate all throughout the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flooring experts.
