Called for a replacement bottom seal for our garage door. Schmitz said they could have someone out around 11, and they showed up around 8:30 AM.
They took a look at the door, told us they could do the job, and then left. We didn't hear from them for a week.
Right before we were about to call another company, Schmitz calls us and says they can get the seal on our door, with an 11:30 appointment time. The team showed up again around 8 AM, swapped the seal quickly, and then left all their trash from the job.

I called last week for a non emergent issue (when I close the door it bangs horizontally and clangs quite a bit). Clearly wasn't functioning 100% and it would need to get worked on eventually. I'd rather have an expert come out and fix it before it needed an emergent repair. I called last Thursday and they would have been able to come sooner but I scheduled it for 5 days later. They came out today, fixed it (thankfully just some rollers that needed replacing), and were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Reasonable charge and repair.

Schmitz Door Service replaced the springs for our garage door a few years ago, and installed a new opener for us 4-5 months ago. Both times their price, promptness, service, and response to follow up questions were outstanding! I recently called them because there was a strange noise coming from the track as the garage door was opening and closing. One of their employees came over the same day I called to check on it, explained to me that the trolley was slightly bent, and that it would be covered 100% under warranty. He replaced it the next day, and it’s fixed. I highly recommend Schmitz Door

Incredible experience! So many positive things to say. Efficient, friendly, very reasonably priced. Needed garage door springs fixed, they were out the next day. Asked about replacing the door and they suggested replacing rollers and a bracket and did not try to upsell or talk us in to a new door. Came back the next morning to complete work. Extremely reliable, great employees and did what they said they would do every step of the way. Highly recommend! Thank you!

My car got "into it" with the garage door, oops! Schmitz was extremely responsive, and made it out in less than 24 hours to inspect and repair the door. I was certain the door was totaled after seeing most of the axel pins on my garage floor, hinges torn out, bent track etc. In less than 30 minutes, they had the door function better than before the Jeep vs Garage Door altercation - hopefully no more garage door vs car fights in this house. We had a mishap with our garage door (apparently you need to wait for the door to finish rising before you back out …). We called Schmitz late in the afternoon. They asked for us to text photos of the state of the garage door to see if they could get a single technician out to repair it that day. Upon receiving the photos, they determined that the repair would require multiple technicians and would need to wait until they had a crew available. I called them yesterday and they came today. First thing in the morning. They were so polite and explained everything. I was really comfortable with the whole process. I ended up getting a new system and they explained that as well. I found the price to be really reasonable and I'm 100% happy with the work.

I called this morning. The phone was answered pleasantly. Information was exchanged and an appointment set up for later this morning. Nick and Greg arrived on the early side of that window. They introduced themselves and got to work. They replaced the broken spring, adjusted and lubed the other doors (no extra charge) and were done in less than an hour. 3-year parts and labor are included in their reasonable charges. Awesome service! We called before 7am this morning because the garage door broke and we were trapped inside. They were at our house by 945. He was done in less than 2 hours and explained everything that he did and what would be new for us. Plus, it was much less expensive than I had anticipated. Overall, great service and I would definitely recommend.
