Pack-It Movers is an insured moving company.
In the event of damages due to negligence of customers possessions, and or property Pack-It Movers will pay up to $.60 per pound. Items damaged must be presented to Pack-It Movers during the relocating period. Any damages claimed after the move has been completed and Pack-It Movers has left destination, will be subjected to an investigation, and or a denial of claim.

See if they are members of American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or if they have any complaints with these organizations. Are you confident in your sales representative that he or she will be there to help you through planning, packing and loading?. You should know that every moving company is required by law to provide you with a "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" booklet.

Do not use them! Based on other reviews and then my own experience stay away from this company. The rudeness of the dispatcher who set up the move should’ve been my first signal not to use them. So the day of my move, I’m in the parking lot at 8 am waiting and waiting. 830 rolls around and I call them and they explain that the 8am - to 10 am time frame was an approximate arrival window. I said ok my mistake no big deal. Now 11 am rolls around, STILL NOT HERE! Here I am living in my in laws house with my stuff in storage and my life basically depends on the second rate no name movers who can’t

We moved our retired parents. We were hit bad by the storm in Houston. We had to immediately move our whole home and relocate to a relatives home. We called the movers and booked. Was a smooth transactions. We choose them because they had a great price and were recommended by our friends. This was a good experience in a bad time. Thank you all for your help. My boyfriend hired this “moving company” 2 weeks in advance and they gave him a time frame of 1-3pm arrival time. An hour before the scheduled time they call him to tell him that they were moving the arrival time back to 3-4pm. They never showed up. Well after 4pm they call to say they were running behind but due to other plans he had he requested to reschedule to the following day. Arrived hours later than agreed upon. Charged $100 more than agreed upon. Said it was to cover travel time. This was not explained properly when the deal was made. Travel was from a different move a long way away, so dealing with a "local" branch of this company, gave false impression of only local drive times. Manager was rude & argumentative when confronted.

I want to be clear that I have NOT used this company, nor do I ever post ratings online. However, as I was online searching for a moving company to use in the near future, I began reading the reviews and very quickly decided NOT to use this company based on the following: the responses by “owner” to the negative reviews not only did nothing but detail a list of “excuses” in an attempt to justify their service (or lack of), but never once offered an apology for the customer’s poor experience or took responsibility for a single negative thing and even publicly listed a customer’s personal

02/10/18 We hired this company, I am so disappointed, $560 later I still have at least half of a truck load sitting at my apartment that wasn't moved or even touched. So I paid to have movers and not all my stuff is moved. The whole point in hiring movers is so you dont have to move the items yourself. NOONE came out ahead of time to look to see what size of truck we needed or the amount of men that it would take. When the movers arrived to the new house the bed of the truck was wet so most of my boxes were soaked, some of the boxes had busted BUT the movers did try and restore the boxes. THEN

After my original movers canceled 20 minutes after they were supposed to be at my house I was in a frenzy to find a company available on a Sunday. After some quick research I found Pack It Movers and they were able to send a team out in a couple of hours. Davien and Jeff worked tirelessly in the heat on a summer afternoon. They were very attentive and careful with my furniture. 10/10 would recommend, after a day of cancellations and unforeseen circumstances they made the move bearable.

Pack-It mover is currently under investigation by the District Attorney. Reach out to Lloyd Keith with the DA at 713-274-5555 for further detail. Stay away from Pack-It Movers. Google their reviews and you will be shock at customer complaint about the same thing. Seem like a trend at their poor business model. Big mistake for us, and hopefully saving someone from the trouble.

Scam artists, stay away, far away from this so called company. Joe is about as rude and dishonest as they come. Our cost went up twice during unloading and threatened to leave with belongings if we didn't… payup. There will be complaints filled everywhere I can to post one including taking out adds in papers and online to let people be aware of this scam and poorly run business.
