We sought help with a small, 2-hour move for my elderly mother. Her move was from one apartment into a senior-specific setting.
Initially, the crew was great and moved carefully and quickly. However, when we arrived at the senior complex, we ran into a frustrating issue.
Because of the resident population, the facility requires masking and temperature checks - a cautious courtesy to residents who may be more susceptible to severe illness. However, the crew leader bristled at the request and reacted unprofessionally toward me (the customer) and the staff at the new residence.

LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!! I’ve used them 3 times. Two local moves, and also a Dallas to Houston move. They get it done quick! The owner, Jason, is a local native and relies on reputation and word of mouth. Rates are more than fair bc he’s not paying for a bunch of big advertising. He supports local business and knows somebody for anything you need. During one of my moves, I needed a washer/dryer but didn’t want to pay big ticket price, the owner even found a set for me from a different move where the people didn’t need theirs anymore. Excellent phone communications setting up move. Crew arrived on time and did an amazing job preparing our furniture for the move with blankets and plastic wrap. We used a large tuck and a long closed trailer with a team of 5 people. Moved a 4 bedroom house of furniture and some prepackaged boxes items across town in the course of a regular work day. The crew was polite and very professional. Not a single item was damaged and not a single mark was left on either property. Despite some reviews to the contrary I would highly recommend given our experience.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Do not use them!!! very unprofessional. we moved 2 minutes away from our home to a new house, very expensive service for all the damage that they did. The brand new bunk bed from Pottery Barn, completely damaged, all these frames broken in several pieces. Antique furniture was not protected and I had to tell them several times to cover chairs and more pieces of furniture. They did not care about anything, I had to ask them to wear cover shoes because they did not cover the stairs and now I have stains on my new carpet. DO NOT USE THEM. I used The Woodlands Moving and Storage to move to my new house. Very disappointing service at a minimum. They did not care about the furniture. Most of the pieces were put on the truck without protection so they came to the new house with scratches and the fabric with stains from being exposed to the floor of the truck. They damaged to pieces of furniture. A pretty expensive bunk bed and a dresser. They said some furniture expert would come to fix the bunk bed and we never heard back. We tried to contact them and never came back to us. We asked them to use protection in the shoes

I wish I didn’t have to write this review, but I do. I have used Woodlands Moving for the past 10 years. Every previous move was great, but our last move in April was AWFUL. It was unlike any other experience with Woodlands Moving.
Here are some of my concerns:
NONE of the furniture was wrapped in plastic or blankets.
The couch cushions were thrown loose into the dirty moving truck and onto our front lawn then only to be carried against the body of VERY sweaty men.
Our 65” 4K television has a thumb print in the screen which created a vertical line down the screen.
The movers dragged instead

The move out of our old home went off without a hitch. Even though they only sent 2 guys instead of 3 the 2 young gentlemen were polite and knew what they were doing. Since we had a week in between closings we chose to store with them also. The problem came when it was time to deliver our things to our new home.
