The installation process starts with us measuring the space and helping you choose the type of flooring that will match to match your unique style and taste. The refinishing process starts with us measuring the space and helping you choose the type of finish that will match to match your unique style and taste. We'll also discuss your lifestyle, floor traffic, upkeep expectations, and budget. These are all factors that directly impact your finish choices.
We begin by getting an accurate measurement of the space, and also inspecting the subfloor/ drywall in the area for preparation purposes. We then will discuss our options and budget for the project, and what that will entail to meet your needs and expectations of the job. Whether it be a kitchen floor, backsplash, bathroom, fireplace, or any other surface you can think of, we can fit your needs.
We begin by inspecting the area that needs to be repaired, and checking to see if it is just an isolated issue, or the substrate as a whole. Once the problem is diagnosed and deemed an isolated issue, we then begin by removing the necessary Tile and grout carefully, as not to disturb neighboring tiles.

We have really old hardwood floors that had space in between floorboards and nails popping up. Company didn't do what we asked them to do and aside from the nails being removed and a new stain, the floor looks as bad as when we started. Called and asked them to come back over a month ago and they have not responded. Feels like we wasted a lot of money.

These guys did an incredible job! The floors turned out better than I expected and by putting sample colors down on the floor after they sanded it really helped make the decision of picking a stain color much easier. I will definitely be using them again when the time comes to install matching hardwood in my kitchen.

Buddy and his partner refinished my hardwood floors about three weeks ago and they look great! The best part was the service. Buddy was an awesome communicator and always punctual. If he said he would be to the house at a certain time... please believe, he was there! Overall satisfied.

We are very happy with the job Michigan Hardwood Flooring Contractors did to refinish our hardwood! Mark came out and gave us an estimate with no pressure. We liked that Mark was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions and would return calls promptly. We scheduled our job for the next available time which was a bit more than a month away. The weekend before Mark gave us a call just to remind us and let us know what time the crew would arrive.
Right on time Bruce and Kyle showed up and immediately got to work. On day 1 they sanded, day 2 they sanded some more, vacuumed, water popped

Our floors always had carpet on them so when we took the carpet up, we were delighted that we had hardwood floors underneath. Unfortunately, they were in pretty rough shape. Based on a recommendation from a friend who also used MHFC (and hisfloors were GORGEOUS!), we decided to use them. Ken and Buddy were extremely friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable gave us many choices of stains, explained everything thoroughly, and demonstrated what our floors would look like. They did an amazing job--we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE our new floors. We wish we could give six stars!!

I had a floor company years ago not finish the job, promising to get around to it and always leaving me on the back burner. Shortly after reaching out to inquire about a job, Michigan hardwood flooring contractors had me on their books and were very accommodating with scheduling.
They were able to pick up where the other company had abandoned the job and match everything effortlessly.
The men that came out were very friendly and willing to answering every silly question I had. They really knew what they were doing, executing the job quick and efficiently. Overall great customer service.
