Our state of the art facility has over 3 acres of fabrication shop, staging areas, covered storage and lay-down yards, plan rooms and offices.
Houston Fence in all facets of fencing and parking controls is one of the best in the business. We have been doing business with Houston Fence for over 15 years. My first project with Houston Fence started out as a hard bid public job that has evolved into a long term business relationship that exceeds several million dollars of fence work.
We use Houston Fence for our access control and fence replacement needs. They do excellent work in a timely manner and we've always been satisfied with our results using them. After my initial request for an estimate, Philip responded within 24 hrs & completed the estimate within 48 hrs. When lumber prices soared due to the pandemic, Philip advised me on when to start in order to make it more affordable. When my neighbor decided to sell their house, Philip got us onto the work schedule quickly. The fence they built is beautiful. Houston Fence Company did a wood fence and come gates for us last week. They did quality work but what impressed me most were that the workers were so kind and respectful. My husband was out of town and it was just me and my toddler and they made every effort to give us space and keep area safe for him. They explained everything they were doing and made my boy laugh. :) Very kind and would use them again!

I had a contract with Houston Fence, but they complained I had too many bushes near the fence. I cut back and they still were not satisfied and threatened the fence installers would charge me hundreds of dollars more to install the fence. I asked another fence company if they saw a problem with my yard and they did not. I asked Houston Fence why this was a problem ongoing and they told me they use sub contractors who tell them what they will and won't do. I cancelled my contract with Houston Fence. I think they were just trying to gouge more money from me. Plus they don't use

Houston Fence Company just finished installing a new wood fence around our backyard and we love it. We worked with Philip through the whole process and he was very thorough and helpful in getting the fence design to meet our needs and budget. They also relocated our existing iron gate in the driveway with no problems. The entire fence install took less than 2 days and the crew did a great job cleaning up before they left.

My access gate stopped working and I had someone from HF come out to determine the problem. The issue was a lever in the panel that was not set properly when the new panel was installed 14 months ago. The employee reset the lever so that the gate operated properly- it took all of 10 minutes. HF called me yesterday to tell me that I owed them $299.00 for the work- that this is their SERVICE CALL FEE! I was never told about this fee and if I had been, would certainly have looked elsewhere for help. I spoke with the manager who was understanding and kind enough to waive the fee, but explained to

Houston Fence did an awesome job. They showed up quickly for a quote and showed up early the day of the work. They were professional and extremely competent. When they were finished, they cleaned up the driveway and yard and left them cleaner than when they arrived. I would definitely recommend Houston Fence!

The culture of this company is condescending, unprofessional and sexist. oh, lets not forget that they are a million dollar company and have been around for 52 years. everyone from the salesman to the managers all make sure to tell you that. whats funny is the salesman nor the manager is a millionaire so why are you saying this, perhaps they get a bonus everytime they say this or maybe they are trained to say this to validate their unprofessionalism?

Called on Tuesday after a storm took my fence with it. Salesman showed up on Wednesday. They started work on Friday and finished Saturday. I made three changes to the original order after conflicting information from the HOA and deciding to have some extra fence work done. The job was done fast and as ordered. The workers left the job site clean at the end of Friday and when finished on Saturday. To see so few reviews on Houston Fence Company shows that people usually only write reviews when they are unhappy because Houston Fence Company has been in business for decades and has a great reputation

Terrible service! I would not recommend them. I got a contract and was told 3 weeks out. I called at 3 weeks as i had not heard a word. No one even knew about my contract and I wasn't on the schedule. And the gates we had discussed building we now an issue - after the fact! Got on the schedule and the crew arrived 2 hours late and started an hour after that due to the many questions they were asking etc about issues that had already been covered with others but not communicated to the crew. Due to the delay in arriving and starting work had to come back another day and charged us for

Hiring them once was my mistake. Hiring them the second time makes me a fool. Calling them a third makes me an idiot. Their design was faulty, costs were high, promptness was poor, and responsiveness poor. After my teams having led tens of millions in construction over my career, I am embarrassed to have chosen this company.
In building four iron gates, the last two had zero clearance. So the field installer had to grind off metal for the two gates to close. Of course over time, it was problematic as the posts closed in tighter, making to difficult to use and close the gates.

I chose several fences companies to get bids on their prices recommended by our neighbors. We opted not to go with Houston Fence Co. and went with another company that had comparable supplies but not price. Salesman was fine. Problem I have is after I told the supervisor we were choosing another company he wanted to know why I went with this company, it wasn't a "brick & mortar and built in 1952", like his company, wanted to know the name of our chosen company, how much they were charging , and maybe their salesman can "look at the figures again!" They were not the cheapest bid for a 6'6 wooden privacy fence, but they also weren't the most expensive. What made me choose them was their long history in Houston. I wanted someone with some experience.
The quote process went smoothly. My contact (Roman) understood what I wanted in a fence, and had several pictures to show me a representation of what would be installed. He had to come out twice, as I changed the scope of construction after the first quote.

Worst experience ever in getting a quote. Told them upfront it was a small job and asked if they could measure for optional fencing. Was told job to small and a waist of there time. They did not even her me state, please measure incase I want to go ahead with the full project. Guess who will never get my business, big or small.

Asked for a quote to move my neighbor's fence off of my property. The fence is around 93ft of deep, needs to be relocated back to their boundary line which is 6ft away. I have 2 quotes which both came in around $800 from 2 other fence companies. The rep from HFC, sent me a quote for $2000. I could replace it for $2000.
Instead of wasting my time, I suggested to the rep that he should just explain that they are too busy to take on a small job. He had to have the last word and tell me he is Mr. Salesmen of the year! When I read the only review I was not surprised it was negative.

Houston Fence just finished our job. They were prompt, professional and courteous.. They finished on time and for the price agreed. David, our salesperson inspected the job and found somethings which we though were OK but he thought could be better and offered to fix them at no additional cost to us. I would recommend them highly.

They sent a salesperson, who over-promised and under-delivered. In short: I missed work when people didn't arrive on time, and there was a lot of time wasted going back and forth over alterations they wanted to make to the contract. I am disappointed with what I got, and disgusted with the experience
