All personnel including owner of the company were extremely personable, professional, knowledgeable and responsive. After receiving confirmation message regarding scheduled appointment, an inspector arrived punctually to our home approximately 20 minutes later on a Sunday morning in order to accommodate our tight timeline. He was very thorough during the inspection with great attention to detail. I was exceedingly pleased from start to finish and highly recommended this company.

Destroy Pest Control is hands down the BEST pest control company in the DC/MD area. I requested a free inspection (online) late Sunday evening and received a phone call from the company within minutes. They arranged for a technician to come out and inspect my home the very next day (less then 12hrs later).
My technician was "Lee" and he was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. He went above and beyond just to make me feel comfortable (I am petrified of creatures) by moving and inspecting absolutely everything.

January 2019 we had mice. We live in the woods so it was bound to happen. We called Destroy Pest Control. Within 2 visits, they had taken care of the problem. They set traps, did a thorough review of our property, and plugged up any and all holes that could have contributed to the problem. They were always on time and taught us alot along the way. The service we received was satisfactory but they REALLY need to fix their scheduling system. The first appoint we had, the tech was almost 3 hours late. They scheduled us for a follow up appointment on Labor Day and told us we would need to empty our cabinets, which we did. Turns out they weren't actually open on Labor Day so we waited all day and no one ever came. Ultimately, they ended up not coming until 2 days later, so we just had to deal with our belongings sitting everywhere since we had emptied our cabinets.

I called Destroy with concerns that we might have bed bugs. I was very impressed when I spoke with Al, who was able to schedule a technician to come out even though we are out near Dulles in VA. However, the technician who came out (Daryl, I think) didn't really do much of an inspection at all. I eventually found out that we don't even have bed bugs, we have carpet beetles. I showed him bags and bags of the bugs that we caught, and he failed to inform me that they weren't bed bugs. He also failed to inform me that he didn't see any signs of bed bugs in our mattresses or elsewhere

Mr. Lee took the time to go through my whole house, explaining everything in detail about what was causing the problem and then took the time to explain what could be done and how it would be done and how long it would take. The company is responsive and the technician is professional and caring . I had an original mouse problem in the attic earlier this year. Destroy took care of it. The mice came back through another opening, this summer and Destroy is currently taking care of it at no extra charge. They are also taking care of my beginning termite issue as well. The technician took the time to explain what he needed to do and pointed out to me the termite damage. There is excellent follow up and monitoring and the prices are reasonable.

Mr. Thompson at Destroy Pest is a dedicated professional, thoughtful and conscientious. On the first visit, he examined the exterior and interior carefully before making his recommendations for treatments (we had an annual ant invasion). Since beginning the service, no more ants!
In an age when many services over-promise and under-deliver, he has been straightforward in keeping to the schedule, listening to any concerns, and providing options and superior service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Situation:
My wife and I are allergic to bees. While cleaning the deck I discovered a small paper-wasp nest under our grill. With guest coming on Sunday we needed it removed the same day, on Saturday. Destroy pest cake out sprayed the nest and removed it for us.
Negatives:
- It was a little expensive, We were charged $200.00 to remove the rather small nest as shown in the picture. That being said it was same day service
- The guy was unable to accept a credit card and I had to go to the ATM to pull out the $200.00 in cash, although he was very apologetic for the inconvenience, it was Saturday

Destroy Pest Control did not show for appointment. I waited an hour for them before leaving. No communication saying they were late, not coming or to reschedule. Will not be using them again, nor recommending them to others.

Small company with big results. I called Destroy Pest Control to deal with hoards of ants that were attempting to take over my house. Their pricing was beyond reasonable and the technician was friendly and professional. Unlike other companies that just wanted to quickly spray and get me into a contract, Destroy fully assessed the situation and took a two step bait/spray approach that has worked great so far.
