If I could give a negative 10 for a rating I would. How this place is still in business after 4 years, I do not know, but I am NOT shockedthat they are not BBB rated. Budget should be ASHAMED to promote and recommend a place like this!
They are not professional, not knowledgeable, not responsive, and are all around crooks! None of the reps give the same information, and they don't follow through/follow-up after picking up your furniture! They let your furniture sit in a warehouse for WEEKS without reaching out to you and the only information they "KNOW" is how much you owe them--but they can't

I am pursuing legal action against this company with the goal of shutting them down. They are scammers if you are lucky they subcontract your move to a local reputable company hence positive reviews but most likely you will be scammed for money & you may or may not receive your goods. My latest update they lost in court this week I encourage you to sue. File complaint with National consumer protection agency this company is under investigation the more people file the more evidence the faster they get arrested.

Absolute worst moving experience ever. They completely missed my pickup window and had to reschedule for the next day. Then the driver they sent wreaked of alcohol and added an insane amount of additional charges. They “miscalculated” my square footage by 100% and claimed that the distance from my apartment to the loading dock was 1.5 times that of a football field so they could add in long carry charges. This company is a well orchestrated scam from the minute they quote you a price to the bogus customer service reps it’s all about getting your money and giving you very poor service. Stay

We have had a nightmare of an experience with these guys. We booked with Cardinal Van Lines months ago who I guess sold the job to American Home Movers. Our stuff was picked up on August 10th and it is now 16 days later and we have no idea where it is. Whenever I call, it takes hours to get ahold of someone and all they tell me is they don’t know when it’ll be delivered. We were also quoted $5,000 and after everything was loaded, we were told it would be over $11,000. We had our stuff picked up a week and a half before we left for our big cross country move because two of their employees told

American Home Relocation was subcontracted by Alliance Moving and Storage for my wife’s and my move from MO to FL. We were not informed that Alliance was a broker. We were given a binding estimate of $2897 and paid a deposit of $1397. We were reassured that we would be given a 24 hour notice prior to pickup, but were surprised when the drivers called us only 30 minutes before showing up. The movers carelessly handled our things, even breaking one sturdy plastic container that we know of containing valuable fragile items. After our things were loaded, the movers compiled a new bill with a price

The WORST experience ever. Whatever you do, run, do NOT use them! They kept our furniture for a month in storage! We moved out of state. And also, we are missing 2 night stands. And we had to fork over $520.00 in addition in CASH BEFORE the driver would deliver the furniture. So far, the BBB has yet to respond and they better. We want our money back and replacement of 2 missing night stands.

I have moved 10 times over the last 15 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend using them. I can go into more details if anyone would like, but the short version is they showed up with a truck that didnt have enough space for what I needed moved and ended up strapping it to the back of the truck using my own tarp after I asked if they were really ok not covering it to begin with, then they had it sitting in a warehouse for 2 weeks past my requested move in date where my family was living in our new house out of suit cases with folding camp chairs and

Excellent. Everything went perfectly. The quality of the everything was perfect. These guys wrapped everything very professionally. I have used another moving service in the past. While they wrapped it, what they didn't do is pad it before they wrapped it. These guys, they wrapped everything--padded it, wrapped it. It was basically mummified. Everything they did was a great job. They didn't drop boxes, they slid things off their carts. They're fast--everything was great. No damage whatsoever.
