Our trained and experienced plumbing specialists do installations and repairs for all water and natural gas plumbing systems, both inside and outside your home or business. MPD Plumbing and Heating are a professional plumbing contractor and is up to date with state and local codes. We solve plumbing problems like low water pressure, slow drain lines, water leaks and gas leaks.
Most homes on the South Shore are heated with either furnaces or boilers. Boilers heat water, and provide either hot water or steam for heating. Hot water can be distributed thru radiators or radiant floor heat systems, or can heat air via a coil. Furnaces heat air and distribute the heated air through the house using ducts.

Mike has done multiple jobs for me over the years from big to small. Some examples are replacing the boiler in my very old home, replacing a hot water heater, to hooking up a kitchen sink. The boiler job was particularly complex and he was amazing to work with. He's a perfectionist, knows what he's doing, and fairly priced. Highly recommended!

Mike fixed a simple plumbing issue (hot water wasn't working in the bathroom shower faucet) for us while we were selling a house that we had already moved out of. He came the same day. Unfortunately, he charged us an ARM AND A LEG. When he called to let me know he had fixed the problem he told me he was treating his entire family to lobster dinner! OUCH! Responsive, great work, but watch out for the price gouge.

Mike took great care in helping me decide on heating systems and plumbing runs in a new construction project in Scituate. We worked through tricky beams and obstacles with ease and humor. Mike was great. Straight forward, no nonsense, honest professional. It was a tricky fix to a leaky drain pipe behind the wall of our kitchen sink, but he made sure it got it done right. Not often you can say you enjoy a visit from a plumber, but Mike was a pleasure. Would definitely use him again.

Responsive and attentive . Mike is a true craftsman and top professional. He is awesome at the big jobs (we had to replace our boiler), and provides the same level of attention to detail with the little stuff (new garbage disposal) Mike's workspace is always clean and organized and we felt he respected ted our home as much as we enjoy it.

Mike is absolutely fantastic, and very responsive on top of that. We have been using MPD for a couple of years and are impressed with his consideration for our time as well as the cost for the installations/repairs. We have used for the big bathroom installation for running pipes through and old house as well as the small replace a spigot line. Highly recommend.
