Angel Saucedo, President, founded MTY Builders in 2008. After graduating from the University of Nuevo Leon with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Angel carried on a career of more than 20 years in the building industry of Monterrey, Mexico.

I purchased a new home that MTY builders constructed and unfortunately didn't look into Google or any other reviews before doing so. Normal settling is expected in a new build which is why a home warranty is provided and I have experienced this with other homes. Unfortunately, every little thing coming apart, falling apart, bowing, breaking, water damage, poor drainage, etc.. is not normal for a new build but is what will happen if you purchase an MTY home. Not to mention if you're lucky enough to actually get a service call let alone get someone to come out to fix things they always send inexperienced

I am beyond frustrated with the issues that I have encountered with my new home purchase in July 2021 built by MTY builders.
These issues have included: electrical outlet for dryer not working requiring re-wiring, light switches in various rooms not working, light switches being installed upside down, missing light fixture globe, frayed attic door cord, living room ceiling fan and switch not working, switches and receptacles and their wall plates and door knobs being installed crooked, laundry closet door knob falling off, entrance doorknobs not catching the strike plate causing the door not to

It’s been a year of living in my new home
Built by MTY builders and I’m still in love with my house! I get so many compliments on the layout of my home and the detail put into the upgraded design like the waterfall , wood floors on main, light fixtures, beverage cooler. I simply just love it and so glad I chose them. Would recommend them

As a Realtor you work to produce the best possible outcome for your client in the hopes that their experience from beginning to end is amazing! This experience was the absolute best! Please make yourself a favor and don’t buy any house that MTY builded, if you don’t want to deal with your house falling apart and not having warranty just go other way with better constructors. We move to a new construction a year ago and the walls are cracked, floors cracked, ceilings falling off, this is just horrible and you have to call them and email them 1836 times per week and they will respond 3 months later telling you they have issues with their workers, they will go to check one day and come back to do one small thing and then you have to call again 18374 times... it’s just a

The WORST builders in Houston.
I purchased my home in June of 2018 as a new construction in a grouping of 9 houses. Every single house has had multiple MAJOR issues. We are still to this day fighting. My house alone has had electrical issues, plumbing/leak issues, flooring issues, roofing issues, HVAC/Heating issues. I don't think there is a component of the house that has not had a problem. They do not communicate. They do not respond until you have browbeaten them and threatened them with legalities. To this day I am waiting on repairs that we begun 5 months ago. I would NEVER recommend this

Terrible terrible builder company...poorly built house and has several issues even within warranty period. Getting their team to come out and do repairs is like wishing for a miracle with continuous follow ups, I have a service call still open for more than 2 months yet the service manager completely ignored or even bothered taking action.

If you happen to find one of their new builds, I would steer clear of it. These people are fraudsters through and through. Lying to your face and apologizing later.

I bought a home from MTY Builders. It is a well built home and priced very competitively. We love the quality and craftsmanship of the finishes and the upgrades that they offer to the home buyer. The staff was extremely helpful through out the whole process. Starting from the walk through, blue-taping of the home and closing. They helped address all of our concerns. I will recommend them to all my friends and family that are in the market to purchase a new home.

I really wish I looked into these builders before buying our first home. We were fooled thinking this home would be a place to call home. Unfortunately, the builders ruined that for us. Since the day we moved in we have had issue after issue after issue with our home. First a leak, uneven flooring, windows leaking, squeaky flooring after two months of moving in. Just a very bad experience along with never being able to get in touch with someone to come out and fix the issues. They even messed up ours and neighbors electrical box so from day one we have been paying our neighbors electricity bill
