Sarpy County hired S&W to replace the fence that I lost in July. They left a mess from the get go. They did not notify me anyone was coming to my house to work. They took down my temporary fence and threw it in my yard. All of that rubble they left I was told they don’t pick up. They cut my landscape light cable, which they said they don’t replace or fix . I was told “we marked for it!” Obviously they didn’t. I called to talk to someone and was told the operations manager would call me back. That was 2 months ago. I’m still waiting. They left all of the work orders for 12 houses in

My partner used S&W for a new fence on her property in 2017. Last year we noticed significant splitting and warping of the support posts, we had another contractor tell us the posts were put in incorrectly, and many boards barely hold onto their posts due to poor nailing. There’s quite a few nails in that don’t even bring things together, they only touch one piece of wood. We called S&W about it last summer but they told us outside of 6 months of installation they won’t touch it. They basically told us we should have inspected it better ourselves in that time frame. I’m making this review

Our neighbors put in a fence and this company does not care if they damage other peoples property to make a buck. They continued to put a fence in on top of a gas line and sprinklers and break them and will not make it right to have them fixed. Not a recommendable fence company to use. I am sure there are other companies who take better care of other peoples property. Good luck!

So disappointed with S&W. We were told that they would have the materials and complete our fence within the quoted time frame. We also signed a contract with them with the requested dates. We paid more to go with them since they promised it would be done quickly. Well, we have had posts installed for 3 weeks and have called and called and called to… get a completion date. Spoke with operations and she told me there was nothing she could do, they are 85 orders behind and "you people" (I am assuming customers?) keep calling about it. She then blamed sales for not letting customers know

I booked S&W back in March. Their prices were comparable to other companies, we booked them because they said we'd get our fence at end of May, when other companies were quoting July.
May/June came and went with no updates or communication. Finally beginning of July they came out and set our posts.
They destroyed 3 of our underground sprinklers in the process. It's good that we got the sprinkler insurance otherwise we would've footed the bill to fix them.

Do not recommend. They will not fix warranty items unless you sue them. Also, the survey company they use is no good. I was able to measure with a tape measure and see the surveyor was wrong. He inaccurately measured the lot and we had to hire a new survey company to come remeasure and fix the posts.
Response to S&W reply - Yes, you are correct, you installed fence in 2007, the year after the gate was messed up and we had to fight to get it fixed even though it was under warranty at the time. Then a few years ago, my neighbors had you install a fence and the fence isn’t even within his property

Thanks S&W Fence for ruining my husband and my 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration tomorrow!!! You cut our gas line to our gas fire pit while putting in our neighbors fence and didn’t have the decency to let us know you did it so we could get it fixed ASAP! You covered it up with the pipe going right thru the cement for the fence post. I guess I didn’t need to pray for no rain so I could use our fire pit. You solved that issue where we can’t use it! At least you could get us a portable fire pit to use in its place!!

I should have read the reviews before deciding to go with S & W!!!
They will blame everyone and everything before taking accountability for why your fence is not yet complete. We are in a new construction home. I asked for our estimator to contact our builder to ensure that the fence posts went in before the sod. Of course he didn't... so then I was told two weeks after the sod went in, we have now been in our house a month with still no fence. The posts are finally in but they can't give us a date for the rest to be complete. Always 7-10 more working days...so frustrating. Get it together S

I contacted S&W last month. They promptly sent an estimator out to my home and provided a very timely quote for a fence install. At the time of the install I was told with good weather it would be around 7 weeks. So about 4.5 weeks in I call the main office (where I took my money to pay) and they told me they could not possibly provide any details at all about the progress of my order. I was told to call my estimator. I did that, left a voicemail and sent an email. He declined to respond for an entire day and didn't make contact until I asked for a refund. At that time he informed me that

Used sw fence to put up a cyclone fence along the back of the property. While I will agree with one of the previous reviews that I had to text them more than I thought I should have, Tasha was quick to reply. Although, we had a communication problem on part of the work, the whole fence was completed within 4 weeks. The men who put the fence up were professional. Always cleaned up after, and made sure the gate was shut for the pup.

We placed our order with S&W on August 8th for a 6ft privacy fence made of white plastic. They immediately came out, sprayed our gate entrances and completed the requested survey. On August 16th, they laid our posts around our property line and let us know that the fence would be finished after that. Our contract says approximately 10-12 business… days. Key word being approximately. Our sales person, Tasha Aken, was slow on responses, and never had an answer to any questions that we emailed to her. She also refused to give us a phone number to contact her on. On the 10th business day

If you don’t mind waiting well past the timeframe that they promise in their bid, and don’t mind zero communication from your sales rep, they put in a good quality fence. We needed a small fence done at our home, and both the setting of the posts, as well as the completion of the fence was bumped several times with no notification given. The… utility companies had to come out three different times to mark our property for our lines. Our sales rep, Delerie, did not reply to our emails or phone calls. We had to call the main office to get any information, and even then, the day

Worst experience ever, if I could post no stars I would. Took over 1.5 years from first call to completion start to finish to get the fence put in. The ONLY reason it finally was completed was because I filed a complaint to the BBB. Naturally their response to the BBB was less than the truth. My recommendation...save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!!!!

"Worst mistake I've made as a homeowner"
I've been a homeowner for 39 years. I haven't done one of these reviews before and I'm not here out of hostility. I just feel compelled to provide some info about S&W to anyone who is considering hiring them (which I can't recommend). They installed a backyard fence in Nov 2018, they required full payment, they left behind several uncorrected problems, and they've now broken off all communications with me.

I originally thought S&W's quote for my backyard, 6' privacy fence was a little steep, but it turned out to be the least expensive quote I received. I also liked the person, Mike, who gave me the quote. He knew what he was talking about and was able to come up with a solution to a weird situation that my yard presented.
When it came to installing the fence, I got the impression that my persistent checking in made the difference in getting the things moving. I would check in regularly. They make the week's schedule each Wednesday, I was told, so that seemed to be a good time

We had this company install a cedar fence. They do not work with any other wood, which we thought was a good sign. We thought they did a very good job for a fair price. The scheduling is the only reason they did not get a 5, but it all worked out. Most impressive is how quickly they built the fence and cleaned up after.

Worst fence co in all of NE; they DESTROYED my neighbors property and cost me a lawsuit! Their work crew threatened my family when we asked why they were digging in the wrong place. They hit my sprinkler line and completely trashed the back of my lawn when they left trash and metal posts everywhere. Nightmare. Run. Run very fast AWAY from this co. They aren't contractors they're vandals. Don't say no one warned you. Wish someone would've let me know...

Absolutely shocking in how S&W Fence wanted for installation of aluminum fencing. You people in Omaha are being gouged by this company. Do you know their prices are higher by 40% than back in my previous home in San Jose and our cost of living is 50% higher than Omaha??? Immoral and blatantly disrespectful and its google reviews show this stay away from them. Look for other competitors which we did which were 40% cheaper for the same product. I don't know how they can walk in our community knowing their abuse. Once the funny money real estate is over which should be within two years,

Got our backyard fenced VERY quickly upon moving in back in May and got it at a nice price compared to the competition. Went with the brown vinyl privacy and couldn't believe the quality and value. Recently laid some concrete and had to have the gate resized - my S&W rep sent my to an outside party who priced the job very reasonably again and completed the work professionally and quickly. Keep in mind there is a "fence season" here and proceed accordingly.

Their estimator is really good. Explained everything in detail and how the whole process would work. Everything he did was professional and straight forward. Set the posts in one day and it was uneventful. Sad to say that was the last of the professionalism. They were supposed to be out the next week to put up the panels and gates. It took 4 weeks to get them back out to finish the installation. I called on several occasions and got the run around each time. Called to talk to the head guy and he told me "it's not cost effective for me to send a crew out to your area unless I have several

Working with this company has been the most frustrating three months of my life! We chose them as we liked the look of the neighbor's fence that they put up. Communication is definitely not their strong point though. We worked with Gary, who handles the Carter Lake area. Despite verbally giving the go-ahead so they could arrange a survey and marking they waited until the paper contract was received and they were paid the half up front and then did nothing until my husband called three weeks later to see when things would be done, a full month after the contract was signed. They did not pull

If you own big dogs and have overly parental and nosy neighbors like I do, a 6 ft security fence is essential. When we bought our house, there was no fence, so it was either fence the yard or teach the dogs to stay close to the house. We got bids from seriously 5 different companies, mostly because our backyard has a hill in it, and the first few estimates and ideas varied significantly. One guy wanted us to give up 5 ft of the back of our lot so he didn't have to angle the fence line. Fence guys obviously don't like challenges in their work.
